Amen, brother! Thank you! I truly believe that God is cultivating a generation of believers who are no longer bound to tradition and western-based church culture. I have spoken to many fellow believers lately of all ages (most being active in the church) who are saying, “there has to be more.” There is! 🙌🏻 There is presence, substance, fellowship, communion, discipleship, action and overwhelming love and purpose. Praise God! 🙌🏻 🙏🏻🔥🕊️
    God bless you!
“Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.”
    ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬ ‭

Thank you, David. As one who is coming from a gospel every Sunday kind of background, I can say that you are so so right in identifying a cultural issue with the western church totally overriding the biblical example of how the church should function. Tradition and culture has certainly overstepped its bounds and I've suffered as a result, as I'm sure many others have.

I'm so glad you mentioned your free teachings on bandcamp so that this time I don't have to comment off topic (actually I don't care but just wanted to sound polite).
But very seriously I've just heard your latest audio: "Sharing in His Holiness" and you hit a raw nerve in me when you said : "Do you know you're going astray and He doesn't come after you? "At the 27:13 to 27:24 minute.
No! I don't sense that He comes after me!
This is the very thing I've been trying for so long to articulate. But I couldn't get a grasp on what to ask. Being surrounded by Calvinists or OSAS'er's doesn't help.
How do I fix that? Is there any fix for that? Every time I think I'm making progress then I run back into "is there any evidence of Him in my life?" There used to be. But not now. There is a sin that leads to death. Finally you've nailed what I've been trying to say for all these years. There used to be discipline and inner witness but there's not now. Is there any coming back from that?
Part of me is concerned and part of me doesn't care. Help. But thanks for saying what no other preacher or Christian would say.

@@davidleebrown3956 So I'm not His child as evidenced by no discipline and no inner witness but because that bothers me a little bit, that means I'm hanging on by a thread in hopes that one day I might become His child again (born again again?) maybe? If so when? How long?

Did I share with you that link of the testimony of a lady back in the late 70's or early 80's named CJ? She had been seeking God her whole life and prayed the sinners prayer numerous times in church even attended studies of the Bible and the Septuagint and other things all in an effort to find God or be found by him. But she knew she wasn't saved even though numerous ministers assured her she was because she didn't have the witness of the Holy Spirit and she didn't exhibit the fruit of the spirit. She kept searching for Jesus despite ministers insisting she was saved. Then one night through a series of normal and not normal events, Jesus appeared to her and told her she was indeed headed to hell. She knew it all along. Then He told her she would have to give up her life and all her idols before she would become His temple - saved IOW. My point is I know I'm headed to hell if I were to die. You think im saved? That's great for you if you think im going to heaven. Glad you feel confident but I don't. Just like CJ knew she wasn't saved, I know I'm not. And it's discussions like this where you seem to be mollycoddling me and answering evasively that make me wonder if you do really know the truth or if you can hear from God. I'm not trying to make you mad. I'm just saying you gave me a weak answer that didn't help. Please try again.

@@sunshinegirl1967- sorry. That wasn’t sarcasm. It was matter of fact. I can’t answer the salvation question, only God can tell you that. Although you’re hanging on by a thread. I’m only trying to point to that thread as a hope. Your fear and desire to be His is that thread that you can continue to hope in, as small as it may be. You care enough to despair. And that is more than those I know who are actually heading to hell have.

Amen!!!! You hit a nerve. I have been saying these things for years and always feel so alone on this. I have wept in prayer over the Bride of Christ to get back to intamcy with the Lord. What happened at Asbury is a great example. Those students got intimate with the Lord and about 700-800 people got saved in 2 weeks and it wasn't even an evangelistic campaign. If you are ever in NE Texas please let me know I would love to meet you!

If you want to have everlasting life you absolutely must trust in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.
Saving repentance is turning from unbelief to belief.

What if “not forsaking the assembling “is greater than our small corner church? What if it’s about Protestants and Catholics walking as brothers? What if it’s about Evangelicals and Charismatics doing the same? What if it’s not what men do in weakness but what God is doing with those who seek His grace ; “There is now no distinction; neither American nor Foreigner, there is neither prisoner nor free, there is not male and female; for you are ALL one in Christ Jesus and children of God’s promises.”-Romans 3

Be ye not unequally yoked with unbelievers.
Anyone who says that believing is not enough is actually an unbeliever.
The entire religious world believes that works help save them.
*Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.*
Free grace is the only true gospel.

@@colonalklink14- of course, but what if we all agreed and were of one heart, one mind, one spirit, and one voice like Zephaniah 3 talks about? It’s happed before and it can happen again. I think that is what my friend is talking about-not a compromising unity, but a holy unity. Jesus prayed that we would be one…
      1. Jesus gets His prayers answered.
2 He can answer His own prayer without compromising righteousness and truth.
