Wonderful recipe, thank you so much. I have to say that I adore any recipe that uses Herbs de Provence - one of my favourite seasonings. I always use it with chicken, turkey, and stuffing (dressing). A chicken pot pie wouldn't be right without Herbs de Provence. Personally, I find bacon to be overpowering, (like olives) so I would probably go with ham, prosciutto, or maybe some cooked sausage meat. This is also adaptable for vegetarians with roasted red peppers and spinach. It's nice to have something for guests that doesn't require a dip to accompany it.
