El Nino is in full swing and that means for a very hot August. There should be a high pressure system that will keep the hurricanes lower. Now for South Texas. Man they better look out. This is like Katrina when it came across Florida. Katrina was strong and so strong in fact it started pulling cooler water to the surface. If this system builds into a hurricane, The water in the gulf is hotter than normal and that hot water is deep this year. The only thing that I can see that can hurt this storm, is the high pressure system that will be to the north.
