Yeah I don't miss her laugh but I miss her extreme I know it was hard bro because it seems like you become family life does go on and I said when she passed away that I would hit like button every time but I didn't I apologize
That's why I just talked to my son's mother she said you should have been dead a long time ago and I said I know but I keep helping people out and I don't give a rat's ass all my family from Minnesota so that's how I got to roll
To me the best part of the video was Chet loading the corn planter by hand and he started to complain and Dougo reminded him that was the way we all did it 40 years ago. I pray that Chet remembers that moment with his Dad and never takes it for granted how hard his grandfather, father and uncle used to work to make the farm the success that it is today. ❤
I remember as a child, everything was in bags, including fertilizer. The wheat and pea seed didn't come in 50lb bags but 100 lb burlap bags. My dad, who wasn't a big man, would toss those things with ease, it seems!
It's all relative. They planted 200 acres 40 years ago, now it's 10,000. The seed used to cost $30 a bag and sold for $1.50-2.00, now it's $300 a bag and sells for $4, just because it yields more doesn't mean it's better or easier..
Do you suppose the Big Swede didn't see the end of the field or fell asleep...... Hell of a place to park and go sight seeing. All i keep thinking is HOW.
Douggo and I are the same age, I am a 6th generation commercial fisherman (farmers of the sea 🌊) I cannot stand sunscreen and have never worn it or anything more than a pair of shorts. I made my first dermatologist appointment 6/20 and was scared to death of what might come out of my visit- just a couple skin tags got nitrogen! Can’t believe it! Our lives are almost exactly the same but with different equipment. I don’t know how I found your wonderful channel but I can’t get enough!!! The good vibes yall put out are simply amazing! God bless the farmers!❤
What a crap year for you all, it looked so promising to start the year with good weather and now watching the news of the farmers up your way with farms underwater and even homes, it heart breaking. All the prep time, fuel and labor losses and other material losses is got to take a toil on you all and now breakdowns too. I don't know how you all do it, but thank you for keeping on.
Chet the good thing about editing is it can make you look like an eternal optimist and patient in all circumstances. :) Hope the rest of the growing season the weeds abate, the rain is just right and your yields are excellent...
Thank you for all you do...I miss the days of early mornings and late nights. Definitely not the breakdowns and occasional stuck equipment but that goes with the business. Great videos and content. Thanks guys!
God bless Dougo. I have melanoma . Well controlled. But I have to laugh. My Surgeon/Dermatologist enters the examination room with that can of Freezing Epidermal spray with her finger positioned to start spraying me as soon as she enters the room. She doesn't miss a beat or a spot😊.I am grateful because i'm ten years into this and i'm still quite alive and have a bright future.
My dad is 92 and gets sprayed every time in take him in. His doc says people are living way longer now and skin problems are showing up now. Dad said you mean I lived to long. Doc asked how old his parents were when they passed. Dad told doc mid 70s. Doc said see you out lived them by 17+ years because of better healthcare. Dad was told his skin problems could have happened 70 years ago when we didn’t know what the sun could do.
I've gotten alot of parts of my head. The worst was inside my ear followed by right next to my eyes. I'm going for a second Mohs this time it's next to my right eye. Beats the alternative.
everytime i watch one of your videos i thank god for how easy we have it in MO, farmin is hard enough without fighting that heavy black ground and the elements.
Thanks for another great video Chet and the entire !!!!! It was most interesting and enjoyable to watch for sure. Wow. Everything was stuck or broke down all of a sudden. Oh my. Nice job getting Eric unstuck with the tractor and sprayer. The front end disappeared into the ground. Chet got it out with the small Deere tractor and a good rope with the energy thing. When Chet hit the gas it popped the other tractor right out of the hole. Nice work Chet and Eric. The case IH tractor appears to have a broken axle or something along that line. Oh my. Not good. Guess the dealership has it and seeing what needs to be done. Ouch. Dougo and Brody doing the replanting thing. That just takes time before more rain comes. Always something. Busy time and late hours for everyone. Hang in there you all. Take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
You have proven the old adage, If something can go wrong, it will. And at the worst time.. What a nasty day. You guys did great overcoming a storm of bad ju ju. Wow, Yank em does the job, again!! Momentum is wonderful, IF you can harness it!
Oh my gosh, y'all had a full on Friday the 13th day🤦♀️ Chet sweetie you need an extra day off lol.. all that running and problems. Sorry guys I'll keep you in my prayers, I know the weather has been nuts this year all across the US. Take care and God Bless
Have you guys ever looked into helicopter or air tractor and do aerial spraying. No plants getting runned over, and no equipment getting stuck in the mud. Not a number cruncher, Chet could crunch some, though and see if it is worth it
Lots off respect for you all doing these video’s even when things are so though with weather and breakdowns, those are the only things I do not miss about farming, thank you for another great video 🙋♂️
I feel every one pain! Dougo, bad analogy on the comparison to sending a lawn. I know of this beautiful couple that lives on a lake in Minnesota that had their yard "professionally" seeded last year. Looks like a million bucks lol
LOL Auto steer put me in the rhubarb. When you said may have to hook hoses to the steering cylinders on the quad track. All I could think of was Dougo and the combine steering column.
Don't worry dugo you'll be fine my grandpa had skin cancer but fought for you ten years until 2016 and I had a friend that got it too god bless you dungo and fight like hell
WOW looks like the struggle bus came to visit Larson Farms and liked it so much there that it decided to spend the whole day there Y’all managed to keep an upbeat attitude through it all and even try to laugh it off Great job Chet Dougo Big Swede Randy and Brodie Enjoyed the video as always This is what makes Larson Farms RUclips channel my number 1 channel is to watch
It’s been a tough planting season but thanks to your positive attitude and perseverance you’re getting it done..Keep on keeping on 😂unless of course it stops raining and you end up with a poor harvest 😢.Just saying
I don't know why I was reminded of my Grandfather walking in after a difficult day with nothing but sayings..."Nothings going to amount to a hill of beans, and to top it all, I went ass over tea kettle and ready for prayers"! The whole family had to leave the room to both laugh hysterically and ponder what actually happened!
Wow, that has got to be one of the busiest days on the farm of so many oooopppsssiess, the stress level is palatable for sure, what more can be thrown at the Farmers in this Country this Year!!!! Keep the Faith and Praying for you all!!! it does not pay to have an awesome early spring EH!!!
The "Gofer" has to be the most talented person on the farm. He has to fix all the stuff ups, be in 10 different places at the same time and still do his job while everyone else only has to focus on one job and they still complain.
Dang, looks like all of you had your challenges in this video. Can totally relate to all the issues at hand. Overall it was a awesome video. Take care guys, be safe out and about. 🚜🚜🚜
Chet you have no idea how many bags old guys had to load. Corn ,wheat ,beans, alfalfa, fertilizer. And some of the bags were 100 pounds apiece. Everything came in bags.
I usually say that hit the like button every time after the call Nicole died and I have another I apologize for that my mistake but yet thank you so much for your videos all my family is from Minnesota
I would have bet donuts to dollars that the little John Deere would not be able to pull out the other tractor and weed sprayer. WOW. I am impressed. Good advertisement for a Yankum Rope.
Its a probably a good thing that the younger generation of farmers is coming along because you can tell Randy and Dougo have seen a lot of hard work and just starting to where down on fighting the weather and everything that makes farming harder every year
Hi Chet - another great video. I look forward to them. Good luck to Dougo with his health issues & hopefully his positivity will help others. P.S. Love the big tractors!
I remember the bon fires my dad and uncles, and all the neighbors had torching the few million seed bags back in the late 70’s and early 80’s! It looked the world was on fire for a few hours every spring. Ahh the amount of beer that was consumed by everyone 😂
Hope you guys can keep the same attitude off the camera as you do on it! The frustrations of breakdowns & mess ups can be overwhelming. Having a staff with 'can do attitudes' and administering positive risk management in working up solutions is great. It's even great watching it from the outside. Just sad it has to cost so much to keep it all going. Keep up the good work!
I absolutely cannot believe this is the first time for the Yankum Ropes. Seeing the conditions you’re working in, I would have expected you all to have worn those things out. Good video as always and thanks for bringing us along. Pray the rain lets up this fall.
Chet your day was enough to make a man start drinkin As for the "alleged" spider bites. I think Jean is sneakin in on you and givin you kickies and your trying to play em off as spider bites!!l lol
Need a Yankum Rope? www.larsonfarmsmn.com
sir you cant park there.
Yeah I don't miss her laugh but I miss her extreme I know it was hard bro because it seems like you become family life does go on and I said when she passed away that I would hit like button every time but I didn't I apologize

Please never loose your ability to keep on smiling and laughing Chet. 😊
Hey Chet I was wondering if you would be interested in HAYBUSTER rock picker parts manuals?
To me the best part of the video was Chet loading the corn planter by hand and he started to complain and Dougo reminded him that was the way we all did it 40 years ago. I do. Those stories about what made the farm are my favorite parts of the video.
It's all relative. They planted 200 acres 40 years ago, now it's 10,000. The seed used to cost $30 a bag and sold for $1.50-2.00, now it's $300 a bag and sells for $4, just because it yields more doesn't mean it's better or easier..
Chet, your positive attitude in tough situations is inspiring.
Do you suppose the Big Swede didn't see the end of the field or fell asleep...... Hell of a place to park and go sight seeing. All i keep thinking is HOW.
That is not away you want to end spring planting. Very expensive end. Poor Big Swede get slid into the marsh. Nice to here you got all black beans.
Douggo and I are the same age, I am a 6th generation commercial fisherman (farmers of the sea 🌊) I cannot stand sunscreen and have never worn it or anything more than a pair of shorts. God bless the farmers!❤
God bless the farmers. They work so hard and long hours, just to supply food for us. People, don’t take their work for granted. Support the farmers
And send corn to the ethanol plant
Not an easy spring for everyone, keep going man.. better days ahead I’m sure!
What a crap year for you all, it looked so promising to start the year with good weather and now watching the news of the farmers up your way with farms underwater and even homes, it heart breaking. That really was a good call to keep the other planter and set it up for the year. Could you imagine if you didn't.
Good Job Boys👍gotta stay at it! Nice Stick for the Swede🐸
Chet the good thing about editing is it can make you look like an eternal optimist and patient in all circumstances. :) Hope the rest of the growing season the weeds abate, the rain is just right and your yields are excellent...
haha - I imagine some harsh words are spoken know and then that get edited out - and a few wrenches get tossed around, etc. - you know.
Tons of admiration and respect for all of you. You guys make my day.
What a day!!! I'm glad you are all at peace with what comes.
The struggle bus certainly hit Larson Farms in this episode.. You are all amazing.
Thank you for all you do...I miss the days of early mornings and late nights. Definitely not the breakdowns and occasional stuck equipment but that goes with the business. Great videos and content. Thanks guys!

feel you pain in the description. My doc says, well, how much spraying are you going to tolerate today? I think she enjoys it a bit too much.
My dad is 92 and gets sprayed every time in take him in. His doc says people are living way longer now and skin problems are showing up now. Dad said you mean I lived to long. Y’all are # 1 on RUclips for farming in 2024 . Awesome 😎! Millennial Farmer # 3
Be thankful that you have opportunity too replant!

Thank you to all the Farmers out there that go through their daily struggles to feed use all A BIG THANK YOU!
your learning DougO Kids like to lay back when driving
Doug likes his tractor seat adjusted just like the chair in the bankers office. All business. 😀
I agree with dougo. How do you drive and see what You're doing when you're half lying down?
Again... we need a Randy cam!!!!
The Big Swede out in the Ruuuubarb 🤣
Wow! What a dang day!! The words of Dr. King come to kind: “We shall overcome!”
Hi Chet - another great video. I look forward to them. Good luck to Dougo with his health issues & hopefully his positivity will help others. P.S. Love the big tractors!
I with you on the skin cancer. I've had multiple spots removed either by knife or the freeze.
I remember the bon fires my dad and uncles, and all the neighbors had torching the few million seed bags back in the late 70’s and early 80’s!

We need Randy to give us an update on the rock picker on that tractor.
The Big Swede just trying to give the Deere a drink 😂
One of your best videos. The way you guys handle problems, even expensive problems, with a sense of humor is inspiring.
You all are great. Love you videos.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!
Like the yankum.
I absolutely cannot believe this is the first time for the Yankum Ropes. Seeing the conditions you’re working in, I would have expected you all to have worn those things out. Good video as always and thanks for bringing us along. Pray the rain lets up this fall.
You guys had quite the day 😮
The Big Swede put her in the rubarb!😂
That was a duck ppnd
🇺🇸 Someone has to be 'that guy', you can't park there, Eric!!!😂 🚜🌽🌾🚜
Exactly!
It's the Larson Family Fun Farm, always loads of hard work, good hucks, and interesting Dougo complaints/observations (i.e. Orson Beam like).
Wow Chet. You guys have had your share of rain and breakdowns etc. But you’re still getting er done. But it will get better. Cool video 👍❤️
Maintenance budget was spent dry. Eric, drive much ...deep ditch. Chet comes to the rescue. 👍👍👍
Gotta love Dougo! Wishing him nothing but good health and happiness! Take care
Best channel on RUclips. Great content and great editing
I would love to hear what Chris says when he sees Eric's situation!
Chet it looks like you are having one of those days when anything that can go wrong will go wrong
It's been one of those kinds of years again! Sometimes when you're about to get done you start having problems. I've seen it many of times!
Hey, Swead, if Donald J. Trump was President! you might got Stuck LOL
Great video guys 😊😊
Chet Dougo Eric Broodie great explanations and great work replant corn soy beans bag corn oh my
Tough days on the farm.
Every time I pull someone out of a spot like what the swede was in, there was always a cell phone involved!!!
You guys are such an inspiration.
Chet your day was enough to make a man start drinkin
As for the "alleged" spider bites. I think Jean is sneakin in on you and givin you kickies and your trying to play em off as spider bites!!l lol
We need more content on Jean Marie
Eric, apparently that tractor isn’t meant for mud bogging….😂
Dougo hopefully you can catch a break the rest of the season!
Big Swede in the rhubarb!
Amazing video chet and Larson farms!!!
Well the big Swede really got a good one for some Brody cleaning
Hi 👋🏻
Be great if you could fly a drone, calculate populations for replant areas and then potentially set it up for lower backwards and forwards
How do you guys not have a million subs yet?
A little more detail on how Swede drove straight into the only ditch for mile in a flat field in broad daylight !!!! 😂
God bless guys
Better check the other Case/IH tractors for any signs of the same happening.
I’m with you Dougo, every time I get in a tractor after one of my boys ran it I feel like I’m going to fall out the back window
Team Larson ! 💪
nice ride along
Love the videos keep up the great work and you guys should do a updated equipment tour
