I was too!!! Such a dope night!! He was just STANDING OUT FRONT!! I talked AT him (he was NOT in the mood to talk), but I didn't expect anything less after watching his "Come To Where I'm From"? It was INSANE to see this LEGENDARY human in such a small venue...for like $25?? Walking into the place was like stepping back into the 90's!!! That was the last time I was at St. Andrews...same room, except there was some kinda rave?? Rock on bottom floor, top 2 were techno...we stayed downstairs and smoked a joint in the club until the bouncer walked up... "Oh...we can't do this??? You sure??? You wanna hit??? OK OK!!! We're putting it out!!!"
I was fortunate enough to be here this night. I was just to the left of this shot!!! There's a barricade just left and I'm on the other side with my wife, mom, aunt, and uncle!!! It was an INCREDIBLE night! Life without live music isn't worth living!!!
So glad we have so many shows to watch and songs to listen to. When we lose people like Mark you never realize the loss until it happens. Really stinks thinking about all the music, books, and concerts that will never happen now, Mark was so great and so humble about it, still cannot get over he passed, just stinks.
i have to admit I bristled at his output after Bubblegum, but warmed to it after time...the voice never changed, so why not?...grateful for this glimpse of his latter work
Oops! My mistake. "Deepest Shade" is by Greg Dulli, yes, but put forth as an offering from The twilight Singers rather than The Afghan Whigs as is listed below. I can always stand to pay attention to my mistakes....especially when i can't get back in and fix my faux pas and getta way with my mistake! I'm about a deepest shade of RED!...

Was there, so good to hear his set, loved the songs, spoke with him at the end of the show & chatted about Bourdain, this show turned me on to Bonney.
