There is nothing wrong with your voice, you're just not accustomed to hearing it :^D I've recorded many things over the years, and I so often hear the "I sound so strange on tape!" But, no, that's just how you sound :^) It's only weird to your own ears :^D (Edit: thanks for the lesson! I loved the video!)

I like the composition. The flower is the center of attention and the person is the background. Nice work.

Excellent video! I'm someone who put the brush down many years ago and have tried to pick it up again the past couple of years. This was very motivating :^)

The shit I got, even at foundation level, for liking the Pre-Raphs is just amazing. It just goes to show how, generationally, these things can fall by the wayside. And it is beautiful. If not, you're also arguing with certain other forms of art from the time.

It always amazes me how much colour mixing is a case of instinct rather than science.

Good stuff and nice painting. Hope it inspires people to try it.
One advice I would add is to use a proper wooden framed canvas. You can even make them yourself

I wish the title had been what she says at the end, "A Modern Take on Pre-Raphaelite Painting." This isn't how the Pre-Raphaelites would have done this. It's a good tutorial, but it's not done in a 19th century style or with 19th century methods.

    Hi! How are you?
It's a new week. By the way, Korea/Seoul is now worried about the whole country due to the typhoon 'Hinnamno'.
COVID-19 is still going on, so I'm worried in many ways.
And this week, there is Thanksgiving Day in Korea.
I hope you have a healthy week, hoping that the typhoon will pass without any damage.
    Thank you.

There's really enough of this sort of thing on the internet already - the Tate should be giving us deeper and more insightful content, particularly because it is where educators look in expectation of examples of art-world thinking, not art-hobbyist tinkering. I don't want to direct students here for them to find the same stuff they find on any old RUclips link or Pinterest page. The connections to the Pre-Raphaelites here are not considered enough for teaching 16-18 year olds.

    Hi! How are you?
Fortunately, Korea did not suffer much damage from the typhoon. It's already Wednesday this week.
I hope you have a healthy and pleasant day for the rest of the week.
    Thank you.
