This is literally the only song that I never get tired of hearing. I've been listening to it on a regular basis for years. It's insane. There's crack in this.
This song is like drinking perfume
+Digger Nick OMFG ur rite grl
+Digger Nick Same?
+Digger Nick is like melting gummy bears and injecting them on my vains.
+Digger Nick it burns and taste bad and u probably but it probably gets you buzzed and your breath smells good but you get sad because why would someone do that. great song tho

It was tragic because there were no tops
I was there
Everybody was so hot/crying

seems to me like he squandered his moment. Where's a SINGLE FULL LENGTH PC RELEASE? HANNAH?

AND EVERY TIME WE KISS I SWEAR I CAN FLY
make my heart beat fast I WANT THIS TO LASTTT
I think ur in the wrong place
To put things into perspective: when PC Music was releasing these fresh and clean sounds, the main hit in radio was Uptown Funk and See You Again. The world of memes and underground was just discovering vaporwave. I can't wrap my mind around this. How futuristic this was! It sounds like the newest so-called zoomer music!
exactly it's so incredible
Shits so crazy
exactly my thought, they skipped years of development in music and just put out absolute bangers that we could only appreciate now
this is the most "how do you do fellow kids" comment i've ever read
they were way ahead of their time T^T
why didn't I let PC music rly hit me until this damn pandemic. like I always knew what it was, talked to A. G. Cook in person in 2017 ... they are one of the great artists of the 2010's. The owl of minerva flies only at dusk, I guess.
I think they as PC artists
I didn't get into PC music/hyperpop until the pandemic either. Before pandemic i wasn't a big fan, but, after the pandemic something in my brain clicked i guess lol.
jokes x

R.I.P PC MUSIC! Thank you for a decade of some fine ass Personal Computer Music!
Why this isn't the hit of the summer?
It is for me :)
+sinapsispop Because it's terrible
+sinapsispop Give it like a good 20 years
because rustie got ahold of it and its now a club and festival banger lol
Maybe it'll be the hit for this summer
This song is beyond perfection. I too remember first hearing it during an official Chanel Cruise collection video. It may be PC music, but it's also HEAVILY indebted to UK hardcore and happy hardcore. Perfect evolution.
listening to this is like drinking a cup of pure high fructose corn syrup. I don't know how to explain it. I love the track though.
That is surprisingly accurate.
2 years late but its cheap strawberry margarita mix and on sale tequila. no substance but still gives a feeling
This made my diabetes have humanetes.
@@prostilez1489 3 years late but idk, i think there's substance. the thing is that it's substantial in a hella post-ironic way. that is to say that it mimicks a style and genre that is consistently lampooned critically for lacking substance (pop and 'dance' music) but it amplifies the aspects of it that people like (such as the sunny vocals, which get pitched and sped up to sound absurdly sweet, and the high bpm) to such a degree that it creates substance by effectively critiquing the lack of substance argument.
the overarching message has always been "this is what we enjoy about this style of music, and anyone who claims it lacks substance can go fuck themselves" it's basically a middle finger to people who claim the soullessness of pop and dance music boils down to [insert random baseless shit that art critic X doesn't like about it] by cranking those aspects up. as a result you really get to see who enjoys those aspects the most
tl;dr the substance shines through a bizarre post-ironic aesthetic that sweetens up the cheesy aspects of pop and dance to create a genre full of "guilty pleasures". that's the point of it, and that's what people like about it
@@deensama7718 So well said! Hyperpop can be very hard to pin down; I'm so impressed! I think the only thing I would add is in reference to some of the more dissonant tracks, at times completely lacking a melody line:
Hyperpop is fun. Hyperpop takes a genre that has become about making calculated decisions to appeal to the widest audience and make the most money and decommodifies it, in a sense. Hyperpop is speaking pop's language, but it speaks in a tone that is much more becoming of genuine self-expression and , dare I say it, joy. Hyperpop is what dancing like no one's watching sounds like.
peak of PC music right here
you know that feeling when you take a lot of MDMA for a long time and then you can't feel joy again unless you take more, because your serotonine is depleted and your brain destroyed? Now I need hi pitched female vocals every day for the rest of my life or else I want to die in pain.
Ro S that's called addiction homeboy
Just stop now and take 5-HTP, L-Tyrosin, (EDIT : Avoid St John's Worth) and vitamins (and amino acid (and minerals)) and eat well, do sport, read a lot to train your brainto work without drug. And stay with clean peoples for avoiding temptation ! Develop your creativity, meditate if you want, it will help against the negative thoughs !
same but not with MDMA unu opioids are even worst 8(
Wow I relate
MDMA isn't addictive though lol. Its a good time, but definitely can fry your shit if you abuse it. It can be somewhat psychologically addictive in the sense of you want to feel "that good" all the time, but theres no intrinsic psychological addiction that's been found in studies.
im nostalgic as hell and it's my first time listening to this song
Check out SOPHIE MSMSM

And me😒
Returning after the new Charli song, A. G. has come so far!
I remember when I first heard this song I didn’t like it, but did like other PC music at that time. But then I went back to Beautiful after years of releases and felt like I finally finally really HEARD it and could truly appreciate all the things that makes this song great
Same.
Yup, pretty much the same story here
This song is beautiful.
This song feels like being extremely sleep deprived in a perfume store.

When this song came out 9 years ago, I remember I was cycling home one summer morning at 7am after having done a night shift. Headphones on, hands off the steeringwheel, sun rising, cycling through silent town alone, fistpumping to this song. Was awesome. RIP Sophie

It's about midnight and listening to this makes me wanna run a marathon
Never get tired of this song
I recently realised the some parts of the song (1:08 and 3:25) are actually the beginning of J. S. Bach's 11th Sinfonia. Has A. G. Cook said something about it?
I guess it’s his thing. He does the same on Lifeline too
I don't know what it is about this song, but I constantly come back to it.
Fucking hardcore
this was used in "unlock it"
None of you will ever understand how I feel about this song

Ok
Would like to see some voguing to this song

I finally discovered the name for this genre and I am so happy! ♥♥♥ It makes me want to fly an ice cream truck rocket ship to saturn and befriend a nice alien~ if that makes sense
Bubblegum bass!
For some strange reason im enjoying the music, but i just think my sleepiness is getting to me.
The music unique in its own possible way.

I completely forgot about this song
I havent heard this song in 4 years, i was in high school
I guesse there are more songs out there that i forgot about, now i am very curious to know what else past me knows that i dont know anymore
Im pretty sure 17 year old me would listen to this song in her head just by looking at this picture but i saw this in my recommended yesterday as i was listening to lifeline but didnt click it, today i have it a chance but... as soon as it played the first 2 seconds i was like, back in 2016 for like 3:51 seconds, back in highschool, back in my good old town that is actually not that far from here but still i wasnt going because of college and work and now like all brazillian states closed their borders and shit because of covid and... geez
This song did the job.... holy shit...
And as i type this comment i just remembered a couple more songs from around that time... leafy radio and waifu wednesdays, here we go, its gonna be a wild afternoon today.
maybe I'm weird or something, I feel really sad every time I listen to this
i feel like that sometimes with some songs, i think is the key? idk tho just what i thought
me too
I'm in love after listening to this
this is very music
The ending of this song has got to be a pitched version of bachs classical piece from like well tempered clavier or something or my mind is playing tricks on me.
Hah i found it!! Its totally bachs sinfonia BWV 797 you can hear it in the beginning
i feel like i've listened to the line (baby when you look at me, you know that I'll be here forever) before, but I've just started listening to ag cook... was this like trending or something??
this is so firee
this is amazing...
I actually really fucking love this and I can't stop listening to it but If this were more popular I would despise it I guess I'm a dirty fucking hipster lol oh well
it sounds pop but it still sounds fresh. There's the difference!!
You are 1.5 year late to be hispters guys
Gtfo.
You like something because you like something. Not because of how damn popular it is. The premise of hipsters has always been retarded.
