I'm in the US and not sure what exams are coming up that required this presentation but I found it very fascinating and as someone who loves this novel, extremely interesting. Thank you for making and sharing this! Good luck everyone!!
I honestly really learn a lot from your videos, if you can please go through an Eduqas paper and talk about how to structure the answers it would be really helpful as videos on the WJEC/Eduqas board are non existent. It would also allow you to get a lot of views since you will be the only person who would've done a tutorial for this board. If you can do this I'd appreciate it immensely. Thanks for all the help so far
My exam was today and the question was how the cratchits showed what life was like for the poor and because of you I think I did great on it! I'm so thankful (:
Bob Cratchit’s poverty is implicit in his name during Stave Four: “Bob had but fifteen ‘Bob’ a-week himself; he pocketed on Saturdays but fifteen copies of his Christian name; and yet the Ghost of Christmas Present blessed his four-roomed house!” (A “bob” being the slang word for a shilling.) This contrasts with how Scrooge is described by the charwoman and the laundress when the third spirit arrives: a “wicked old screw”, a half-rhyme with Scrooge. Cratchit half-rhymes with “scratcher”, possibly making one think of “scratch a living”, or “scratch a bob.”
Do you have any examples of other child characters that represent innocent, angelic and completely victimised children in Dickens' works? Thank you for the video x

Jonathan Melia half rhymes don’t really mean anything in my opinion and I would say you’re over analysing
@@hugolloris2469 OVERANALYSING is what they want, gets you in the higher bands, shows you are bein perceptive so no x
