Enjoyed the video. Most houses had trophy’s in the 80’s, it was an excuse for the Mr to get out of the house. My dad was part of pub darts & snooker teams, he had lots of trophy’s. Just an ordinary large family home, imagine paying out for a full sized snooker table rather than updating the electrics!
I wonder and I'm sure that you noticed but I don't think upstairs has been used for a longer period of time than some of the downstairs rooms. I also noticed that the two living rooms are less cluttered than the rest. I also wondered if the locked living room was were the person could have slept and possibly passed away. when my family member got elderly and near the end we moved the single bed downstairs so that is a possibility to happen here. But great explore and awesome video
I don't think the living room was used for sleeping but makes sense that some of the other rooms were not used as much as it appears the owner was quite an old man

Believe it or not this place was lived in until very recently. There is planning for the buildings to be redeveloped/knocked down and houses to be built on the land
@@BeardedReality there has been planning consent for the land for years, but the developer has yet to start but with the actual farm house and buildings I believe there is now a dispute with the family and the developers. Such a shame, it used to be an amazing place

I never noticed any disrespect from these guys. What I do find disrespectful is leaving this lovely house to rot. Also, seems the house was not loved enough to keep and save, but sold to the highest bidder to be ripped down and the house and land used for a new housing estate. So obviously the house and its contents means nothing to the last owner and present one.
@@chrisreddy4815agreed. No disrespectful behaviour by the blokes exploring the abandoned house and making this video. What is disrespectful is the people who left this house, along with the rest of the buildings, to rot.
Lovely character building, such a shame to see it ending up like this, could have been sold ages ago and made into a lovely place, wonder how many places like this there are in England. Could help the housing stock.
I don't think they were anymore a pro darts player than they were a snooker player, Looks like someone just enjoyed the sports and could afford to enjoy playing them at home.

Well side note to that if someone a family member recognised the photos place etc things could be saved and as well as precious family moments all swings and round abouts however I give a full explore of what I see and find
If they were left by family when emptying the property, then they clearly had no call to keep any identities hidden. And equally, if the occupant/s was/were the last of the family line, then no harm done.

What I don't understand is why no one ever just takes up residence in any of these places. Who would there be to stop them?

It is crazy that the place is just lying wasted but that's how it goes
There are quite a few in Lincolnshire. Often abandoned by farmers who want to live in ghastly modern bungalows.
Such a shame that that this once regal property has become the almost ruin that it has.
Why it is left like this is tragic. 😔
