  • One of the founders of Afrochella, Abdul Karim Abdulla and Manny Mensa sit down with Ebro in the Morning to discuss Afrochella, and why it is so special, and what to expect at this year's show.
    They also spoke about how people are starting to travel to Ghana and Africa as a whole more often, the popularity of Afrobeat around the world, and the big debate... who has the best Jollof rice?
    Afrochella goes down December 28.

    • @kindomofghana
      @kindomofghana 4 года назад

      Exactly! That's how you promote your culture... Gyama is exclusively and unmistakably Ghanaian 🇬🇭 and it will be very hard for any other culture to highjack it. It is modern, not new, in the sense that it is an evolution and infusion of older genres like Kpanlogo and the likes. Everyone goes crazy when Gyama starts. They should seriously consider your suggestion.

    • @wahabodusola6484
      @wahabodusola6484 4 года назад +13

      What are you on about??? Let me educate your ignorance ass a little bit.
      In 1953, Chief Anthony Enahoro moved the motion for independence but it was rejected by Northern political party, spearheaded by Sardauna. Keep in mind, Nigeria is divided into two parts. The South and the North. The South was ready in 1953 for independence but because the British backed the North, hence the reason it was rejected. So, get off your high horse. And Ghana gained their independence in 1957. Hope you've read Kwame Nkrumah's autobiography? where he spoke about Nigeria leaders. And if you really pay attention to Ghana politics, the Northerners(Hausas) don't have big influence in Ghana politics unlike in Nigeria.
      Then, it was a Nigerian called Dr Nnamdi Azikwe that recommended the college that your first prime minister(Kwame Nkrumah) attended in America, because he once a student of the same college. Which was University of Pennsylvania. Always chatting fuckery about Nigeria. I bet you're unaware of this part of history.
