I have a fairly new NW boss mule that I am working on in Hyperion and I somehow missed that I could extend Rapid Throw by tapping it and somehow entirely missed that Shadow Stitch was a bind! Lmao! I've been using Erda Nova this whole time and thought shadow stitch was just a bad skill.
Vids are great and informative for a general audience. It's extra steps but i think it would be nice to have skill icons shown and put in order of burst rotation for the end of the video when you explain it.
Dark Omen’s CD actually gets reduced if you hit enemies with Shadow Spark, essentially making it spammable. Very helpful when you’re doing PNO stage 2.
I haven come back maplestory for many years and now looking at this video i dun even know how to play a character.. it is so complicated lol. I think i prefer the old classic maple for simple grind with hack and slash. lol.
Open the skills tab, and in the bottom right, there's a button called "Note"; click that, and that window called "Skill Alarm" lets you throw any skills with cooldowns of at least 3 seconds on there, and then they'll show up every time they come off cooldown!
I'm trying to make boss mule that I want to level up only around lv 200-230. is there any good class out there that has amazing damage without hitting 260? and with simple enhancing on nodes & costs less to enhance is OP? let me know! tysm
Always keep in mind it's subject to change through patches and usually depends on your playstyle and what you like! That being said, there's a ton of great low investment classes out there that make for good boss mules, the main biggest one that comes to mind currently is Dawn Warrior. Only needs one pair of trinodes, huge hitboxes on everything, good mobility, a ton of s, easy to level and understand. Hero is an insanely good bosser but struggles slightly with grinding, only requiring you to remember the proper skill order to get the most damage out of your kit. There are some other simple easy ones like Night Walker, F/P or Bucc etc., but those require a bit more nodes and learning some of their systems to get good damage out of them
The jump attack thing was part of old Night Walker! It was replaced with the Shadow Momentum system, so no need to worry about focusing on jump attacks at all anymore; just dash around or flashjump to maintain stacks
@@Decatei thats exactly what i read recently. thx for clarifying that. what i really wanted it for is to facilitate smoother mobbing. i can kinda see you doing that in your video but i cant do it like that .what annoys me is having to stop and throw stars ikinda wana just stay on the move at all times ya know?
It was from the Ignition update! There was a buyable Cygnus Knights outfit selector. I hope it comes back soon because some of those outfits are really nice
Can you tell me if it's just me or is this class super sucky at MP? Mobbing in that and then doing dailies compared to almost every other class in the game was SO tedious I just ditched the class at 234 - literally left me feeling like I never wanted to play the game again. Picked up on my DW instead, unbelievable the difference.
I can think of a number of classes that struggle with MP way more than NW, for me personally Lara is quite tedious/slow, but that being said yeah they aren't the greatest until you get to a point of 1-2 shotting mobs in there, spamming Omen and Bite w/ Shadow Bats on. Dawn Warrior is great I love them and their stupidly big hitboxes on everything
Are you sure you were using Lara properly? She's a beast for mobbing, not many better! (Also, pretty damn strong for bossing too, once you get her burst nailed) @@Decatei
I'm not sure I am using her properly yet, but I know she's a great mobber! Just doing Monster Park with her (for me personally) she feels slow cause her mobility is a little lacking for those maps, and for most of her skills she's gotta stand still. Might also be because I was doing ChuChu's MP which has all them long river maps spread out super far. She's great at mobbing and fun to boss with outside of Monster Park though!

Not sure if someone mentioned this, but you can end rapid throw early by using backstep during skill use.
If you're trying squeeze more dmg from nw's kit, try to rapid throw later(due to how cygnus blessing works)

You only have to hold shadow stitch for 1 second to get the 12 second bind, not the full 5 second duration
