Clone Wars Stop Motion 4
C1-10P nicknamed Chopper is Hera Syndulla’s favorite droid member of the Ghost crew. She rescued him from a downed Y-Wing fighter on Ryloth during the Clone Wars and they have since been inseparable. See Chopper’s involvement in the Clone Wars and what led to his crash before becoming Hera’s partner.
Chopper partakes in a major operation to liberate Ryloth from Separatist occupation. Meet his clone pilot Swift and gunner Bullseye as they take their last flight into battle. Clone pilot Swift is confident in Chopper while gunner Bullseye doubts he can take anything seriously.
Witness the return of Dicer, a surviving former rookie from the Dawn of the Malevolence video. See the debut of Cache, a clone trooper who wields a great arsenal of weapons including a crossed pair of ammo bandoliers, a pair of DC-17 pistols, and the Z-6 Rotary Cannon.
The Mace Windu voice is retrieved from the Clone Wars: Republic Heroes video game. The Twi’lek citizen voices are retrieved from EA’s Star Wars Battlefront 2. The Clone voices are from the Clone Wars show and Republic Heroes game. Most of the clone voicing is done by me, my impression altered through Adobe Audition. Chopper’s voice is retrieved from the Star Wars Rebels show.
Many figures featured in this film are customs.
The clone trooper is a combination of Jet Propulsion pack Rex hips and belt. The lower legs are from Clone Pilot Goji. The torso and arms are also from Clone Pilot Goji. The helmet is from the Rishi moon battle pack clone. The face is from clone trooper Hevy in training gear. The helmet requires putty to stay on the neck whereas the Hevy head fits perfectly with no alterations. The Goji torso does not fit on the Rex hips and both are drilled and sanded down to fit. Small Neodymium magnets are used to hold the hips to the torso. The magnets are superglued. The clone pilots simply use the Goji helmet but repainted.
Some clone troopers use the older clone recipe as seen in the Warehouse Ambush video. See that video’s description for the full recipe.
The DC-15 blaster carbine can be seen in a folded stock orientation. This is achieved through a simple mod. I took the folding stock that came with the E-11 from the Black Series Sand Trooper and cut a small opening in the trigger guard of a DC-15 carbine with a knife. Then I pushed the stock to fit into that opening, which does in fact cover the trigger entirely unfortunately but it achieves the look we want!
The battle droid is the Separatist Droid Speeder droid figure but painted to a plain khaki color. The wrist has been cut and re glued to hold the blaster properly. The old 2008 clone wars battle droid backpack is superglued to the back of the droid.
The Twi’lek citizen is a Vintage Collection Aayla Secura outfitted with a Clone Wars Mace Windu lower soft goods skirt. The baby is a Clone Wars Aayla Secura head wrapped in a Clone Wars Shaak Ti lower soft goods skirt.

Wonderful!!! At last the great Clone Wars stop-motions continue to live on! And I'm absolutely praising your voice work, I would love to have you for my upcoming clone wars stop-motion!
OMG I'm so glad you liked it! Your first Clone Wars stop motion is what inspired me to give it a try! I'd love to be a part of your next stop motion :D. Let's talk about it! tagubahidden@gmail.com
This was pretty sick! Awesome job! New friend here 👍👍👍
@@KaisDinoAdventures Thanks so much!
Listen to a few of my uploads. Let me know if our voice work would help
Me too
The clones really almost sound like Dee Bradley Baker very well done
Yeah he did a great job!
I legitimately thought he'd sent in some lines
Bro I love how clone wars is officially over but the spirit of the clone wars lives on with stuff like this! I've watched this like 17 times😂
Never ends when we're around bro 😎
@@Tagubahidden exactly!
That end credits scene though, the twi-leks asking about the spay painting on the gunships made me laugh so hard when I realized they are the same species.
Right!! Found the perf opportunity to use the Lucky Lekku gunship 😂
This feels like it was taken right out of the show. Incredible job!!
Thank you! I wanted it to fit in as much as possible.
This guy is not kiding
This could actually be a CW Arc
I'm so glad you think so! I wanted it to fit right in the timeline :D
This stop-motion animation is enough to make a sith lor- I mean chancellor cry...
This is exactly what we want to see in a good clone wars stop motion! Great job!
Thanks so much! Having a good story to tell is a big part of stop motion for me :D
⬛️ yeah amazing
I concur
Such a beautiful story of Choppers origin! I really hope Disney makes this story canon. You did an amazing job with the editing, animation and voice acting, props to you!
Thanks so much! I can only dream someone from the crew sees this and does make it canon 😫
You are still active!!! 😱😱😱
It’s beautiful if looked at it for 5 hours
The second Man Thank you! I keep coming back to it too! Really proud of this one 😁
The Way you handled the green screen is amazing!
Thank you! As much as I'd like to have everything on screen for the shot I can't replicate the sheer number of clones and droids without "cloning" them using green screens lol. Thanks so much for watching!
Yeah, normally there are thousands of clones on one battle
Wow I love how the clones sound exactly like they do in the clone wars animated series
Thanks so much! I watched the episodes too many times lol
I felt like I was watching an actual clone wars episode
Thanks! First time making one almost the length of an episode!
Lol! “I don’t know a word your saying” I love this!!!
Lol right! Where's the C-3PO when you need him?
Wow, this was absolutely amazing!!! I loved the storyline, and you executed it perfectly! So many things really stood out in this stop motion, it is definitely one of my favorites now! I loved the walking animation, that detail really made it seem more realistic. The extra effort was really worth it. The special effects also really stood out, they were amazing! I was especially blown away by the space ship scenes. One thing you mastered is the constant movement. There wasn’t a single part that seemed lacking movement. The movements were all very smooth, and it all seemed very realistic. I also loved all the custom figures! It makes this stop motion very unique and gives it a lot of character. You also did a great job of creating battle scenes. They seemed very chaotic, and all the layers fit together very well. Your voice acting was great! It sounds just like the clone troopers in the Clone Wars, and it made me feel more attached to the characters. I absolutely loved this stop motion, and I’m already excited to see what you make next!
This means so much! Thanks! 😭 I'm glad you loved the story and characters. Definitely looking forward to making more stories into stop motions soon 😁
That clone voice actor is perfect!!!
Thank you so much! I watched the episodes too much as a kid lol
Tagubahidden but it was though
This, my dear sir, is the best stop motion I've seen The sound is amazing
Thanks so much! I believe sound is just as important if not more as frame rate is in a stop motion :D
You did an invredible job on this one man! I love how you fill in the plot holes we have regarding certain characters, for this case its Chopper's backstory. They told us about it in Rebels, but you give us a clearer image of it. To sum it up, can't wait to see more of your work man!!
Thanks so much! This was my most ambitious animation yet :D. A lot of my film ideas stem from exactly those kind of questions! They say what someone went through and we expect a backstory that never gets told lol.
@@Tagubahidden indeed! Hey man would you check the stop motion I've just released, tell me what you think of it
Absolutely amazing love that end with the gunship lol
Thanks! Lol I remembered my gunship had a Twi'lek on it and wondered what other Twi'leks would actually think seeing themselves on it
@@Tagubahidden haha it was genius
BRO... I’m shook
You’re so good
Finally a good stop motion that made was ledgendary and your clone voice was good too
Thank you so much!
Yo, the credits scene was hilarious! I’ve always wondered what the twilek’s would think of the lucky lekku nose art. Well played.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Epic story I may try to create something like this in lego
That'd be awesome!
Wow man. This was an excellent film. I loved the visuals. The green screen was very well used. Can't wait for your next video!
Thanks a bunch!
You sound so much like Dee Bradley Baker
Thanks! I've watched the show too many times 😂
This was better than the last jedi and the rise of skywalker! Great job!
LOL Thanks so much!
The back packs the clones are wearing where did you get them
They are seen in a few sets. I got mine from Cad Bane in clone trooper disguise. You can also get one from Clone Trooper Draa.
@@Tagubahidden thxs
@@Tagubahidden I do have another qestion why do you use the commander stone & Arf trooper hybrid mold
@@CommanderDevissCT- They are more screen accurate
@@CommanderDevissCT- @BananaWizard is right! I love the commander stone mold because it looks just like the clones in the series. I use their torso but with jetpack Rex's hips and legs to give more articulation and make them "stop motion worthy" lol. But some scenes need extra articulation to get into good poses so I also use the ARF trooper hybrid mold to achieve those.
The voice acting for the clones is super accurate
Thanks so much!
I can’t believe a stop motion almost made me cry, this was the best one I’ve ever seen, felt like I was watching the clone wars!! Great job
Wow, thank you!
This has got to be the best clone wars stopmotion ever! After watching this I'm rethinking how I make stopmotions, well done dude. 👏
Appreciate it! Definitely awaiting more of your vids!
I like your style motion you’re so good four trooper boys
taku Thanks!!
Reminds me of the 2008 movie
This is far better
this could be a legit clone wars episode, this is amazing wooow, thooose voiices
Jaime Bosch Thanks a bunch! So much fun to do the clone voice 👏
Not gonna lie i thought it was gonna be about the clone chopper from slicks squad lol. but it was a great vid nevertheless. you have come so far from your first star wars stop motion its great to see.
ps. how did u do the dc15 in the extended stock position?
LOL yes my first one was the Lego Star Wars Security video...super cringe! My first good one was The Deserter. Do you think this tops the other ones I've made??
The DC-15 in extended stock was so cool to make! Glad you noticed it :D. I had it in several scenes but decided to make the ARF trooper legit extend it in everyone's faces just to be sure it was seen lol. I took the folding stock from the E-11 blaster that came with the black series sand trooper. Then with a knife I cut the trigger guard of the DC-15 and simply stuck the peg of the stock into there. Technically the trooper can't even pull the trigger lol but the look works!
This is so well done. I dont think people realise how long time this takes. Respect🤜🤛
Appreciate it! This one took me a year 😭. Took breaks for school but yeah seeing the whole thing together makes it all worth it!
This actually makes sense because Chopper is the astromech in rebels.
Thanks! I wanted it to fit right into his story :D
I love the figures, setup and story
Thanks! Writing this story took FOREVER, let alone filming and editing the effects. Results are definitely worth it :)
These voices are so identical to the actual ones
Thanks! I LOVE practicing the clone impression!
Who did the voices, they sounded just like the clones
I did :D
Man that Mace Windu voice was on point!
That was amazing. Truly one of the best Star Wars stop motions I have seen, and one that is plausible and more nuanced than TCW itself!
Choppers back in Business an then he crashed it was awesome and I love how you used the voices from the clone wars
I watch this a while will go, but never learn to appreciate it this much
I love that you mix rebels and clone wars that's so cool
Finally a great clone wars episode
LOL What do you think of the newest episodes from season 7?
@@Tagubahidden its good but cant wait for the new skin for the clones asoka's battalion im guessing
how did chopper survive into Rebles? this makes no sense
He crashed and Hera pulled him out of the wreck to repair him! 👏
Love what your doing keep up the good work 👍
Thanks!
Poor Chopper. He’s been through so much. Thank the Force his destiny didn’t end so soon.
Finally, I've been waiting a year to you to re upload, Good video by the way
I've been waiting that year to finally finish! So glad you got to see it 👏
I am glad too, Another year till the next video?
@@auto01612 I hope not! The next time I can work on another film is when I get back from school this summer. But yeah I have a standard of quality I want to present to you all so stay tuned it'll be worth it!
Wow I did not know it was that easy I going to have to try that on one of my clones some time thanks and again this was amazing
It’s been a year since the last video and you still don’t disappoint
Thanks so much! I hope the story and effects make up for the wait 👌
This is great
Thank you!
This was soooooo good had to come back and re watch
LOL I do the same thing like once every two weeks tbh. This was a lot of fun to make :D. Appreciate it!
I genuinely think you are the best youtuber for making clone wars stop motions, I haven't seen any that recreates the feel of the show the way you do
Now we know what happened to Chopper friends
So excited for this!
Edit: Amazing work!
Thanks!
That's some voice you got ! You sound so much like Baker as the clones !
andy ch Thanks! I’ve rewatched the show so many times lol I just LOVE clones
I like 15 minute videos 30 minute videos at the most but I really like this I have a stop motion app so I know how much work you put in to this and it was out standing keep up the great work
Damn bro you did a killer job like always great job!👍
Thanks so much!!
This was an awesome stopmotion film man I’m very impressed and of course StarWars is forever amazing 👍👌🔥🔥
Star Wars is LIFE
This is very smooth and the voices are amazing!!!
Thank you so much!
Man i love your work Great Job
Thanks!
Man, that was sad. Good work
Thank you! Music choice definitely hit me hard too
One of the best stories and animations I have ever seen great job!
This actually made me sad ahhh 😭
Right! Such a tragedy :(. All for the Republic!
You can never find any nice long good stop motion but I really liked this video
Thanks so much! Do you prefer long or short films like these?
Long
Smooth animation, and great voice acting 👍👌
Appreciate it 👌
Wow bro!!!! You did great on this!
YO THANKS BRO!!
Great stop-motion clone wars forever
I’m so excited for the premiere!!!
yo this is so sick and smooth, could you make a stop motion where clones fight one of the main villains
Thanks! I definitely plan to have some of my clone characters go against Grievous or Ventress!
Where did you get them ball hinged clone trooper would love to know!!! And nice nice👍 stopmotion video keep up the good work!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much! The trooper is custom. I used parts from Clone Pilot Goji, Jetpack Rex, and a helmet from the old regular white clones. I swap the helmet for a clone head that I got from the Clone Trooper Hevy in Training Armor figure. Check the description for more details :D
Neat Chopper origin story
That was awesome great job!!
Thanks!
Can't wait for this
So this is how hera came across chopper.
Yep! They totally missed out on the flashback on the show. This is how I always thought it would've went down.
I cried in the final part
Yeah I tried to time the music with the right moment 😭
That was good no wait more like amazing
Thank you!
Your good at doing the clone trooper voices
Thanks so much!
Lol the baby was the LEGO head!!!
LOL nah it was Clone Wars Aayla Secura's head. But shoot that's a good idea right there!
Tagubahidden thank you!
Magnificent
so exited😱😱😱
I'm super excited for you all to see this! I started this project about a year ago 🙉
Tagubahidden dang i can’t imagine working that long😨
The RUclips algorithm actually did good, great video!
Wow well done with the voices
Thank you!
12:57 from where is the line? Fall Back(...)
Umbara
@BananaWizard Soo close! But it was from Trespass, Season 1 Episode 15 when the 501st retreat from an ambush by the Talz.
It’s very good! I love it!
Thanks so much!
Tagubahidden How did you do the laser effect and the blaster bolt strike effects?
@@ARCTrooperStudios8108 I used Adobe After Effects to import each little scene. I used Light Saber Effects by Video Copilot and changed its position over time for each frame. It may sound like a lot but it doesn't take that long! I usually copy and paste the same blaster bolt since they come from the same blaster. The official tutorial I learned this from is from one of the original star wars stop motion animators ruclips.net/video/N11vG885KHc/видео.html
For the bolt strike effects I used the spark effects credited in the description, placed the same way as in the tutorial above.
Tagubahidden Very Nice indeed
Where did they got this action figures
Kevin Dillard Got most from eBay. Some from the childhood collection lol
This was amazing, I wish more star wars stop motions were like this
Thank you! This one took the longest to make!
That was pretty damn awesome, nice work 👍
Very nice!
Thank you!
Hahahaha chopper is literally mocking the Sargent
Right! He's such a troll!
What app did you use to make your voice like the clones
@@B1_224 I make the impression myself. I only edit for the helmet sound. I record my lines and edit in Adobe Audition. To make it sound like I have a helmet on, I use an FFT filter. There's a tutorial on RUclips where I learned how to do it!
Wow you make the impression your i thought you use an app that's so awesome you really sound like them
I have that chopper and a r2d2 like those droids
Awesome! Definitely my favorite figure of Chopper. Disney did a good job adding little bits of articulation and accessories, unlike Hasbro. The other droids are just Hasbro's R4-P17 but edited in After Effects to look have different colors. Thanks for watching!
Amazing!
Thank you!
I DONT CARE ABOUT CLUNCKY STOP MOTION, WRITING, EDITING AND VOICE ACTING ARE TOO GOOD
Thank you!
This is soooo good
i will buy his whole star wars clone wars clone trooper collection for the right price i need a lot of clones my self
Believe it or not I only used one dirty clone figure and one clean clone figure throughout the film. I just "cloned" him in After Effects and added different accessories and helmets each time.
Wait scratch that I used one other type of custom trooper at 7:29
@@Tagubahidden did u create those pilot helmets i would love to have some and what kind of figure head and bodies were u using
@@Tagubahidden when u did the dawn of maleverlance stop motion i was so impressed and what figures did u use for them
@@Tagubahidden any way keep doing what u do ur very talented in ur works for star wars and stop-motion so keep it up and im looking forward for the next stopmotion
I know what I'm doing Saturday noon
Yeah bro keep. It up it looks good and i the audio is also good keep the good work
Appreciate it!
This is awesome I like it
Thank you!
Continue, your vids are amazing!
Thank you so much! I definitely have more stories I want to put out
@@Tagubahidden It would be fun to make stories about custom battalions/legions by the way!
Starkya definitely! Check out the Anti Hailfire clone figure (the tall commander stone mold one of the pack). They’ll be a part of a custom legion for one of my custom Jedi 😁
That'll be awesome!
You do know "Chopper" was the name given to him AFTER the crash, And he only started to act like he does again AFTER the crash due to some of his wiring getting knocked around so this makes 0.00% sense
Never knew that! Got a link to the info? At least his designation's still C1-10P. Hard to imagine him being nearly as interesting if he acted any other way in the stop motion.
