I always thought Alex was of Indian decent.
She was never my favorite when I was little but as an adult I absolutely adore her!!!
I can personally see her being Latina or Native American. It would be nice to have more Native American characters that aren’t stereotypical
I think Alex is at least half Mexican and maybe half black? Her mum might be African American or and her dad is white/Latino. Plus her full name is Alexandra Vasquez.
Alex's personality bit similar like Buttercup from The Powerpuff Girls. Both are Tomboyish. However, Alex are Fashionista side too. Including like wore Qipao in few occasion & she's have a Pig pet named "Oinky"

you need Jerry to finish the line, so I think that is what you should make the cinnamon boy into! Like he can have a suit, and a holiday-esque outfit... like a Hawaiian shirt unbottoned, and some cargo shorts for the casual outfit, I for some reason remember him in an outfit like that, lol
I would love to see your version of Valtor from Winx 💕 it could be cool if he had a smart doll base, since you already own one and the skin tone seems to match, but honestly I would just love to see such doll in general!
I think that big villain that turned bloom into dark bloom would fit the smart doll mold better. It would also mean he'd be taller than the fairies like he is in the show.
I love the way you made the character your own, just as you both did with Sam! I'm looking forward to seeing how you design Clover!
Oddly specific question: Is there a character from a show, movie, game, etc. that you both would like to make a doll of, but haven't because the character is intimidating in some way? Possibly due to some part of the character design that you don't want to change? If so, why? And are you wanting to figure out a way around it eventually by building your skills or getting something new equipment-wise? I feel like this question could help other artists!
Heya, Alex here. I would love to do every main character from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure but I love them so much that I don't want to risk that they come out not perfect 😅 I also wanted to make Thresh from League of Legends but he has a floating head and that's stopping us from starting. I'm sure it can be done somehow and maybe we will try in the future!
@@Enchanterium the best way to pull off a floating head in my opinion is a clear stick. Might want to be careful of the durability tho :>

ooo in line with early 2000s cartoons, for the male doll you could do a street fashion version of danny phantoms ghost form! there are lots of amazing fanarts with him in fashion that reminds me of skater style fashion, and you could take a ton of inspiration from the funky styles of the ghosts from the show

She’s gorgeous.I like her hair,you did a better job than I could lol!..She looks fabulous with her partner and if the other had not got long ginger hair I would have said this one is my favourite.But I do love her none the less.Now that outfit was some very clever sewing and adjusting too.I think both outfits looked amazing and I am pleased you got the fit of her trouser perfect in the end.The shoes were incredible.They looked as good as shop brought .Thos new printers are fabulous and really helped a lot with doll designing and the accessories .You do incredible work together..Love n Light until next time 🥰

You could try a harajuku style for the male doll! Lot's of fun colors to play with ✨ or the opposite- something goth/metal
or maybe a combo of bothy, like a pastel goth version of harajuku!

I'm in love with this outfit!!! As for the boy doll there's so many ways he could end up, my first thought was a kpop Jake Long from the American Dragon tv show since both shows ran around the same ish time frame. But the second thought was a counterpart to the Crush doll ((bride doll??)). I'm super excited to see what happens either way!!!
So much details went into the jeans oh my gosh. I've definately had to unpick pants before due to not fitting how I want them to fit. I love how both girls has two outfits, they're so adorable. I really love how she came out, even if there were some troubles along the end result is totally worth it.

As someone who sew shorts, boxers and trousers for myself it took me about ten versions to get a decent and another ten to get a good fit. Most of the instructions I could find weren't very good, mostly in the form of only having alteration instructions to add a 2-5 cms on the crotch depth/saddle width if at all when I need about 20cm more than standard fit.
So I really wouldn't beat myself up over not getting it perfect on the first try
