Great to make it the finish final. Loved this whole adventure and sure enjoyed more than you can imagine, next to being able to own one and fix it. Lucky you. Thanks so much for allowing me to part of you restorations I am grateful and very in-debt to you kindness thanks Mike
Nice work Bob! With all the work you put into this one, I'm sure you feel quite a sense of accomplishment. Mounting the power resistors so far apart was also good for heat distribution; steel doesn't conduct heat very well so, you should end up with more even heating of the CRT face.
Really nice job on this one Bob. It seemed to have some unique challenges for sure, but as always you managed them all. Great picture, the sound definitely is not as good as most of the sets you restore, seemed tinnier to me.

Very neat installation of the components, looks great.

Ding dang that is a noice job... look like new ootb!
Wow. RUclips actually recommend a good video. The “magic eye” was a DuMont invention. He was kind of possessed by cathode ray tubes.

Thanks. I had my doubts when I started on this set. Probably because you only heard it with the speaker lying down on the workbench
That thing is cool. Nice work
