I have a theory that Kai's slightly excessive body language is a result of gesturing as a child to help communicate with people speaking different languages.
I've watched clips of his dad, and it seems that he's mainly imitating his dad's speaking habits and gestures. Like, a couple of them are carbon copies, like the ways he fakes laughs, expresses sarcasm, and gets lost in thought are all very similar
This video made understand partly why Soobin is so funny to me and it's that while he speaks really proper and polite, he will sometimes choose the WILDEST topics to talk that seriously about😂
I always find Kai and his family members so unique. Being raised in China and having both parents be fluent in Chinese there was not really a need for the 3 kids to learn Korean or English. In fact they even said that they did not start learning Korean until they officially moved here at the ages of 10,8,and 6. His older sister Lea still speaks Chinese and uses it pretty often (I know nothing about the language so I can’t say whether she sounds very fluent or not but since she speaks it pretty often I’m gonna assume she speaks it well). She’ll often even post song covers in Chinese as well. I’d say her English is also very unique, she has an accent but is much more confident in speaking than the other 2 and she often uses English is her instagram lives and TikTok’s. Plus she’s the only sibling that lived in America for around 2.5 years. Kais younger sister Bahiyyih wasn’t really amazing at English I would say even a beginner level. She could be given a script in English and would do well that way (example did the English narration for the MAMA awards in 2020) but she would 100% struggle having a English conversation without a script or help. Since her debut in 2022 she’s the only English speaker in her group so I think that almost forced her to learn English to a new level. Though Kai is more seem less when saying a sentence, I think Bahiyyih has a better vocabulary Bahiyyih said her and Kai call their dad all the time and get English lessons from him and only allow their dad to talk to them in English now. Their dad will even send them words of the day and some flash cards for them to study with.
yeah hiyyih and kai always had the feeling to me that they have pretty clear accents (they’re unique but not that heavy, they definitely have clearer English for an avg fluent person to listen to than their other members (minus yeonjun, bc his 2 years makes him sound like an actual native lol)), but lacking vocabulary. hiyyih more so, it showed a lot during her fan calls where she seemed to be struggling to express her thoughts to international fans. i think kai was definitely second best in english when they debuted but nowadays i feel like taehyun might actually be more comfortable or know more words than kai does in english too lol but all of txt are definitely decent English speakers at minimum lea on the other hand seems to have almost perfect mastery of every language she speaks, she has the most natural english, and pretty natural korean and chinese from what i’ve heard. i wonder if she’s just good with languages or if it’s because of her age and how it corresponded to where the family lived? she would have had the most time in both china and the us, which are the two languages she clearly has retained more of than the other two

Hiyyih second guesses herself a lot, for example she writes a diary in English everyday and she said “I woke up this morning and brushed my hair” and after reading it out loud she changed it to “I brushing my hair”. Think she just lacks some confidence from earlier on but she’s so so so much better as of lately. I usually only hear her accent heavily with W’s as of right now. Kai is also getting better but think him and Taehyun are very similar level. I think oddly Taehyun sounds less accent heavy than Kai who to me screams “I’m Korean speaking English” if that makes sense. With Lea I think it’s just due to her heavy exposure. Moving to Korea when you’re 10 and being only 23 now means she was exposed to a lot. Think she was able to retain both to a impressive level because she consistently spoke both of those languages in her daily life.
And don't forget that Kai's father taught him a little Brazilian Portuguese too (I don't know if he teaches his sisters, I only found out because he spoke in live), In their place I would be very confused with so many different languages and cultures, I would feel like I didn't belong anywhere completely, it's really crazy! But anyway, I think they might already be polyglots haha
@@letslmI don't think it would be confusing. I grew up bilingual and learned two more languages in school. Currently, I'm trying to learn Korean by myself and plan on learning many more languages. You may forget words or not be able to translate something on the spot, but that can happen to anyone. Personally, I envy them. Encouragement and money can go a long way.
the fact that Kai has an accent makes so much sense now to me! I literally speak zero Korean but I noticed that both him and his sister Bahiyyih pronounce some words a little differently from others I've heard.
Same! I've been into k-pop for 5 years and have been learning korean for about 7 months. I've always noticed he had an accent just from how much I've exposed myself to korean, but after learning a little I hear it a lot clearer.
His analysis of Taehyun as introvert who tries to act like extrovert might be onto something. Everyone is saying Tae is extrovert, as he is good at doing PR for TXT, but maybe he indeed is introverted, but tries his best to represent TXT. He said he does not like to go alone to variety shows. Whatever ge is, he is very straightforwrd and honest person.
This is what taehyun said when a moa asked him about beomgyu being introvert btw "it might seem that way if you think; i = quiet and e = loud…well i can’t say that it’s totally unrelated but i think that if you look at the words “extrovert” and “introvert”; you can be a quiet extrovert or depending on the situation, you can be a loud introvert"
Also Kai and Beomgyu stay home and recharge when they can BUT they are very funny with the group or when comfortable. Soobin has been trying to go outside with friends. Taehyun and Yeonjun are extroverts and are often outside with their friend groups
Speaking of casual speech, Beomgyu often drops honorifics when talking to Soobin because his argument is that though they are born in different years they are only three months apart and that he rather be friends with Soobin.
Yeaah, and right now they have an agreement: from soobins birthday to beomgyus birthday, he will call him hyung, but for the rest of the year he will speak in a casual speech with soobin
just to add smth to yeonjun’s dad jokes, he can do it even in english! when they were on stationhead last month and they were mostly speaking english, soobin kept “accidentally” skipping songs, when they were playing skipping stones huening kai asked moas “are you guys good at skipping stones?” and yeonjun immediately said “soobin is good at skipping songs” 😭
I'm crying laughing at you talking about Yeonjun mumbling at 25:28 because that's when he's on Yoongi's drinking show Suchwita and he's wasted out of his mind 😂
Yoongi started the show saying something like "I know the two of you can handle your liquor" but Yeonjun was completely snockered by the end of the episode, even with Yoongi bringing him multiple bottles of water at once and urging him to drink them. And then their SMS the next morning "if you're looking for spoilers ask the staff because we can't remember anything"... 😵💫😄
Yeonjun is actually the best at English except when it comes to the grammar (he said so himself in a live he can speak it but don't ask him about the grammar part he has no clue😂) but he tends to take a backseat most of the time thes days when comes to speaking it. He often corrects the members on their English and they ask him how to pronounce words they don't know. He use to have to take the lead speaking English but since the other members have been learning especially, taehyun who's been very keen on learning, he's a lot more relaxed. A dancer (nick Joseph) and choreographer who's worked with txt a few times said Yeonjun's English is really good but that Yeonjun himself doesn't think so. He tends to shy away from it but when he does speak it tho by his accent you would think he's a native speaker. He tends to speak English Randomly and casually at times so he's a bit more fluent than he gives himself credit for. Not bad for someone who only lived in America for two years.
For me I find it super cute whenever Yeonjun uses "Your hyung" if he talks to someone younger or "Yeonjunie" if he talk to someone older or same age instead of "I or Me"whenever he refers to himself...
Actually, Soobin wasn't exactly a drummer before debut though he did mention playing drums. He was in the dance club though and performed a lot for school festivals! Yeonjun's "oongnyangnyang" is also cause he's a cat to fans, hence "nyang" so it's like he's meowing haha Your discussions on their use of polite speech reminded me of this one time Soobin, Beomgyu, and Hueningkai talked about how sometimes comment/requests they get on their livestreams feel a bit too forceful/commanding so they can tell they are from foreign fans and that they are using an online translator. Soobin went on to point out it's probably because other languages don't have as many words that indicate politeness unlike in Korean so they have to be understanding towards it and that they appreciate fans using online translator to comment in Korean because it's easier for them to read. I laughed so hard at you saying Hueningkai's handwriting is like Comic Sans in Korean hahaha The members do tease him a lot for it, too. I enjoyed this a lot! Thank you
Thank you for making TXT analysis video. Taehyun's huge vocabulary comes from his mum. He once said how his mother said to him "instead using this word, shouldn't you use this word". That's how he started having huge vocabulary As for Hueningkai, he said he pick up habit of good spelling & writting from Soobin & Taehyun. This was during live Taehyun said Hueningkai almost report moa's comment that have bad spelling 😅. I'm amaze when you said his Korean is native level. He once said when he first came back to Seoul, he was 7 and couldn't speak Korean properly in school. Thank you for pointing this fact
Yeonjun and his mumble talk haha i love it so much. Because he mumbles when he talk he got this famous title "웅냥냥." (ungnyangnyang) bc he's like a cat (according to lots of people) when he mumble. If you noticed in content involving txt, they always put a caption "웅냥냥" everytime yeonjun mumble 😂😭😭 and its honestly so cute
Thank you for making an analysis about TXT!! As a MOA, it's so exciting for me when people outside the fandom share their thoughts about them. also is very interesting to get to know them from another point of view. I'm so happy and proud to be a MOA and I hope more people get to know the amazing group they are 💖
The members actually say Taehyun has the best English. I think Yeonjun is a little more shy about it. Taehyun used to make videos encouraging other kids to learn English 😂 he's a very confident speaker. Have you come across the video of Heuningkai saying Yeonjun-ssi and getting yelled at by Yeonjun? By the end he was calling Yeonjun noona... And it went from a joke to a thing they actually do sometimes. Yeonjun is fine with it. 😂 It's honestly pretty sweet. If you haven't seen it yet, watch the TXT Showterview with Jessi. It's a bit old but so good, and you get to see them all play with language and be outrageous. Everyone gets to shine.
I think Taehyun understands sentence constructions, sva, phrasal verbs (like in TXT Theatre). But Yeonjun’s (having family abroad) enunciation is just a little bit better…? But the first time I heard PS5, I asked “are Taehyun and Yeonjun both fluent in english?”🥰🥰🥰
@@keikit748 I agree completely - they're both really good, with different strengths.Taehyun is textbook precise and Yeonjun sounds very natural. They're both impressive in so many ways 😁
I feel like taehyun is just a great student so he remembers words and some grammar.. but the pronunciation gives it away. Whereas yeonjun is simply waaaaay more fluent. Sometimes he could be mistaken for a native speaker.
Wow the amount of dedication you put into this video is amazing. I am not learning Korean but I still learned a lot about the members that I never even noticed. Thank you so much!
quite funny you made this video lately, I found out about TXT just last week, and never had any interest in k-pop before. But I found them so fun they inspired me to learn korean (as a speaker of Japanese, korean seems similar) and the first videos I watched are your grammar lessons :)
theyre one of the few kpop groups that aren't antiblack, get into them. more open minded and aware of their surroundings than most thankfully. and the music is brilliant.
Thanks for the analysis! Even though I am not a native Korean speaker I always found Soobin’s talking and voice to be soothing and comforting. After hearing your analysis of him having proper and gentle diction it makes sense. ❤
I find it interesting how you described Taehyun. Jungkook (From BTS) mentioned in a live stream that Taehyun speaks like an adult. He also said Taehyun is smarter than he is....or something like that ( Anyone feel free to correct me).
Thank You for going so in depth about them and their background. It really shows that you care and know what you are talking about. More TXT pleeeease 🙏 ➕✖➕ 😄😁
the amount of dedication to make these type of videos, thank you for helping so many people and making it so fun at the same time ! keep the good work up and hope txt left you a great impact 🤍
AHH I love it!!! TXT is my fav and I'm a huge Beomgyu bias...I feel like maybe you like Beomgyu too, you enjoy laughing at Kai so I bet you like him too lol. Thanks so much, this was fascinating!! I've seen them live 3 times and it's been super interesting to hear their English improve on tour and their performances are stunning!
Thanks Billy! I enjoyed watching this video and learned a lot. I love all the details and examples you put into this. Hey we share the same fav member! The one and only Huening Kai~ I don’t know much about accents but I suspect he speaks English with a slight Chicago accent. It’s the way he says th with a d sound. His father’s family is also from Chicago. Thanks again! I had a great time learning from you!
This is the best collab I could imagined 😭🥰🩷 Billy, thank you for teaching me korean in 2020!! 9:54 Never expected this legend moment to get a breakdown 😂
This video was so interesting txt are my favorite band I love them so much and this videos feels like I’m closer to them because I understand a bit more of their speech ! I also learn so many good tips thank youuu
as someone trying to learn korean and also a moa this video was so awesome and informative!! i learned so much about the members that i didn't know before, thank you for making such a great video and putting so much effort into it, i loved it :)🤍🤍
Your photos in the back are great choices LOL. Wait...I knew Kai was a drummer but Soobin was too? I think uses body language because of his Father for sure...he's American and on any broadcasts I saw them on in China as a family there was still body language. Kai is my fave too too but I can see how you would be torn between him and Beomgyu as the both bring alot of energy to the group...just means Kai is your bias and Beomgyu is your bias wrecker LOL
Pleeease I love your interpretations of Yeonjun’s dad jokes. Like, they make more sense now ahahaha. I mean, sometimes I catch those English puns, but not this in depth. I’m at 24:33, but I am so invested in this. Thank you so much.
I can't imagine the amount of research you did for this 😭 but it's cool tho you got to know a great group lol I'm not learning Korean tbh and after watching this i don't think I'll ever do cuz wth there's so much details it's confusing 😭 but still the way ur explaining is actually so good! I'm not s native English speaker but i still understood!! anyways thank u for this amazing vid💙
2:05 you got me hooked here! I truly appreciate people who see through the general media dubbing TXT as BTS' little brother and see them as a unique group that they are. Ok let me continue watching :)
thank you so much for this incredible analysis! 💛 Tubatu really is a group with amazing chemistry between members and i'm so happy i got to know them even better thanks to you ☺️
I am an ARMY and it's been only a couple of days since I dive into TXT mv and videos. First time that some other group than BTS catches me like that. So I was very surprised and delighted to watch your analysis! The one you have made of the BTS members was so on point. I don't have a bias yet... too soon... not a MOA yet... but... but... maybe?😅
Oh hi another Army~!! Sameee, I already knew about them since yeonjun was first introduced, but not until cysm era that I completely become moa. Don't worry about not finding your bias yet, I'm sure you'll warm up to them soon~! I find it funny that the member who introduced me to txt had became my bias now. Oh and taehyun! I'm just fond of cats, really, I guess by now you could guess who's my bias in bts is 👀
@@reisatsuki5891 Suga lover?😉 I'm team Taehyung, but love them all... Well, I must admit that I'm still learning to know TXT members and that Taehyun (not Taehyung ahah) grows on me. I love his delicate charm, his high voice, his wit. Wait and see...
I used to run an English conversation club for the Korean international students at my college and I thought the soft, sibilant /s/ of one of the students was a mild speech impediment. The other Korean students were like "What are you talking about? He sounds the same." Now I understand what was going on. Almost all of the students were from the Seoul metro area but he was from Daegu. And they LOVED teaching us satoori, so hearing you at 41:41 brought back memories.
I love this well researched. warm hearted and informative video. As a MOA it is so gratifying to see a kind analysis of the members, and I learned new facts about their Korean expressions I didn't know. thank you so much.
this is one of my favourite series from you!! thank you so much for this wonderful video, & i love how genuinely you always seem to enjoy researching for these
I do not know because there is not that much info out there but since HueningKai was born in Hawaii I wonder if there is a distinct Korean accent among Hawaiian Koreans. They left Hawaii when Hueningkai was very young but perhaps his mother picked up on this accent and he therefore learned it from her. As they lived in China as well when he was quite young he would not have been hearing Korean from those around him only from his mother or if his father also spoke to him in Korean as I understand he can speak it also so Hueningkai's early exposure to Korean would only have been though his Father who I would assume being German Brazilian spoke Portuguese or German as a first language and likely has an accent and from his mother who is Korean but obviously was also living overseas when she met his father and after they were married and may have picked up an accent as well from wherever they were living. I know many people who pick up accents easily and have an American friend who married someone from Scotland and she now has a bit of a Scottish accent and my Mom picks up accents when she lives around people with an accent. I even found myself picking up a bit of an accent when I was traveling with a friend for a few weeks. I did not pick up the accent of the country we were visiting but began to pick up her accent as I spent a lot of time with her so it would not surprise me if Hueningkai's mother picked up an accent in her Korean living overseas and this is what Heuiningkai heard when he was young and learning to speak and therefore it was also adopted into his speech. This is of course all speculation but it makes sense to me.
Kai's father's first language is Brazilian Portuguese, because he has already taught Kai some things in Portuguese (he spoke on a live), and not German, I don't believe his father speaks German, because just like in the United States, Brazil also has a large population descended from Germans, so it's kind of difficult to find someone who actually speaks the language of their ancestors (this goes for all ethnicities here since Brazil is 99% made up of people from other countries, maybe some speak a few words, but it's not common, and some of them use old dialects that probably don't even exist in Germany or another country anymore). I agree with you, what you said makes sense, Kai's accent is really very unique, my guess is that it was also all this mixture of languages in his family and that's why his accent is like that
I'm not super familiar with TXT, but I really do love watching these videos. It's so nice getting to see a breakdown of native speakers. It's cool picking these things up in other videos on my own. Would really love to see you do another video like this on the group Ateez!!
this was so interesting to hear especially since these things arent really picked up by non fluent speakers! i love hearing about habits and small quirks the members have! i was hoping you could do ENHYPEN next since it would be really fun to hear this about them too!! i think they would have a lot of unique speech habits and quirks that would be very fun to analyze as well!
To Kai’s accent: As a german even as a non korean speaker, he has a german tone!! I‘m 1000% sure. I feel like it‘s because his father has the same tone! Sometimes when he speaks i get the feeling he‘s talking german even tho it‘s english or korean!! It‘s hard to describe but that‘s surely what it is. Maybe another german speaker can confirm. It feels like his mouth is designed to speak german haha very round but korean is a little tighter and doesn’t require a very open mouth? Does that make sense haha but the words still sound german in a way to me. Not sure why it is like that. I know he has a german background there‘s videos of his family online and his uncle has a youtube channel and everything. They all talk like they‘re the first german generation in their family in america if even!! Even Kai‘s body language is so german. I hope you read this!! Not knowing anything about him i would‘ve sworn his native language is german. He carries that tone because of his father! My family are immigrants in germany too and my first language is german but for some reason i have a certain tone because my parents have an accent while speaking in german. It‘s the same for all children of parents that aren‘t native speakers!! My german is perfect but i inherited a tone even when i never lived abroad haha.
In Kai's case, it's not just an accent, because their family has much more backgrounds, so there's also his father's Brazilian Portuguese accent (Portuguese is also more open, and the most expressive gestures and way of speaking is definitely something Latin/Brazilian, mainly because his father came from the Brazilian northeast, they are even much more expressive), the Chinese accent (since they lived for a large part in China), English, Korean... anyway, it's a mix haha
Taehyun is the sweetest person i hvae ever seen !! He is often misjudged by people as a cold person but if you get to know him more in detail , he is a very warm , sweet and caring person ❤️
I WAS REALLY WAITING FOR THIS AND HERE IT COMESS!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH BILLY I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL AND THIS VID MAKES ME EVEN MORE MOTIVATED TO LEARN KOREAN💙
Billy, my Korean language teacher introduced me to you! I passed my tests and I want to thank you(Your videos were a BIG help!). Thank you! Moving on up!
Latinos/Brazilians make a lot of gestures and are very expressive when speaking, and especially since Kai's father came from northeastern Brazil, they are even more expressive, he must have gotten it from there haha
Thanks for making this video about TXT, I love them. 🥰🫶It is fascinating the perspective of a linguistic person like you. So appreciate it. Just a fun note, Taehyun said one time, when he was a child, his English teacher gave him the name Terry, and that he was really good In English language. Likewise, Huening Kai is so good in English. Both of them communicate well with the fans in live concerts. I wouldn’t mind watching another 3 hours of analysis.😝Could you do other groups? Is there a video for Ateez? 🤔
Graxias por hacer un video de mis tubatu...estoy aprendiendo coreano y ellos son mi grupo favorito...por lo que me divertí mucho viendo el video..y poder aprender de la forma diferente de algunos miembros❤❤
Taehyun is actually an extrovert! And I think what he means when he says he's cold is that he has no interest in people he doesn't care about. Obviously he cares about moa so he's friendly to us 😊 This was really interesting as someone who's not actively learning Korean but would like to
I'm a causal listener to TXT but this was fun to watch. Would love if you'd do Monsta X. There are some translation accounts I follow that comment on how some of the members carefully choose their words or sound maybe a bit old fashioned ( they're an older group, in their 9th yr). Would love your take on them, Thank you Billy!!
thank you so much for this video! i've been a fan of theirs for almost four years now and you helped me know them better when i thought it was impossible! ❤

FYI Tae MBTI is ESTP
Yeah there are many people who are both introvert and extrovert according to the situation and who they r interacting with
Speaking of casual speech, Beomgyu often drops honorifics when talking to Soobin because his argument is that though they are born in different years they are only three months apart and that he rather be friends with Soobin.
Taehyun could literally be a doctor with his handwriting😭
Kai's section is so interesting, especially that bit about his accent!
I'm crying laughing at you talking about Yeonjun mumbling at 25:28 because that's when he's on Yoongi's drinking show Suchwita and he's wasted out of his mind 😂
Drunk or sleepy, he gets pretty mumbly 😂 which is understandable
Yes ...while watching his clip I was thinking that it doesn't help that he is wasted here lol. But yes in general he does tend to mumble at times.
@@lexica510 he told everyone not to watch it and then afterwards thanked the editors for being kind 🤣
@@lexica510 One of the funniest episodes of the entire series
Yeonjun's "oongnyangnyang" is also cause he's a cat to fans, hence "nyang" so it's like he's meowing haha
Your discussions on their use of polite speech reminded me of this one time Soobin, Beomgyu, and Hueningkai talked about how sometimes comment/requests they get on their livestreams feel a bit too forceful/commanding so they can tell they are from foreign fans and that they are using an online translator.
That's how he started having huge vocabulary
As for Hueningkai, he said he pick up habit of good spelling & writting from Soobin & Taehyun.
Kai body language is similer to his father... they even have the same expresion...
my theory for Taehyun's vocab: he may have read a lot. I read a great deal when I was young, and I attained a big vocab.
Yes! In my research I saw the clips of him calling 연준 with 씨 and 누나 jokingly, and I guess he just likes playing that joke on him a lot.
@@lucreziapaoli51 I was just citing the members themselves on this - I'm not qualified to judge. Most of us aren't.
funnily enough taehyun is the only extroverted member left in txt 😭😭
Wow the amount of dedication you put into this video is amazing. I am not learning Korean but I still learned a lot about the members that I never even noticed. Thank you so much!
quite funny you made this video lately, I found out about TXT just last week, and never had any interest in k-pop before. But I found them so fun they inspired me to learn korean (as a speaker of Japanese, korean seems similar) and the first videos I watched are your grammar lessons :)
Hiiii! Welcome! I got into BTS about 3 years ago, and TxT about 1 year ago. 🎉
@@MandyMoon12 thanks! :)
theyre one of the few kpop groups that aren't antiblack, get into them. more open minded and aware of their surroundings than most thankfully. and the music is brilliant.
Thanks for the analysis! Even though I am not a native Korean speaker I always found Soobin’s talking and voice to be soothing and comforting. After hearing your analysis of him having proper and gentle diction it makes sense. ❤
Yes, kai's habit of expressing with body while speaking came from his father, their way of expressing everything is too similar
I find it interesting how you described Taehyun. Jungkook (From BTS) mentioned in a live stream that Taehyun speaks like an adult. He also said Taehyun is smarter than he is....or something like that ( Anyone feel free to correct me).
I love Kai😭thank you for making this video!!✨
Thank u for making TXT video 💗 they are a very unique and talented group and I’m so happy to be a moa 💗🌸
the pics in the back are so cute 😭
I love everything about Yeonjun!
Thank You for going so in depth about them and their background. It really shows that you care and know what you are talking about. More TXT pleeeease 🙏 ➕✖➕ 😄😁
the amount of dedication to make these type of videos, thank you for helping so many people and making it so fun at the same time ! keep the good work up and hope txt left you a great impact 🤍
wait Yeonjun writes English words in Korean language? LOL why is this such a Yeonjun thing to do.. but also I had no idea so thank you!
i dont even speak or know korean that well but i can recognize the oongnyangnyang in yeonjun's speech pattern, its endearing somehow
This was so, so much fun. I really enjoyed listening to your thoughts on them
Omg TXT??! I LOVE THEM
This was so interesting! I could watch hours of this!! Txt is my fav group! Thanks so much for this analysis!!
I didn't know this as well !!!
Pleeease I love your interpretations of Yeonjun’s dad jokes. Like, they make more sense now ahahaha. I mean, sometimes I catch those English puns, but not this in depth. I’m at 24:33, but I am so invested in this. Thank you so much.
YESSS TXT ANALYSIS IM SO HAPPY
I can't imagine the amount of research you did for this 😭 but it's cool tho you got to know a great group lol I'm not learning Korean tbh and after watching this i don't think I'll ever do cuz wth there's so much details it's confusing 😭 but still the way ur explaining is actually so good! I'm not s native English speaker but i still understood!! anyways thank u for this amazing vid💙
So Soobin is a case of politely blunt. That does sound like him 😂
I'd like to see him analyse NCT jaemin's Korean tbh. Cause idk the way he speaks it sounds so unique to me
Beomkai stan detected!!❤
The fact that pretty much everything i mentioned in my hilariously long comment in the community post was said validates me,, thanks
How did this video make me find my tubatu even more endearing?! Thanks Billy, this was great!
And they LOVED teaching us satoori, so hearing you at 41:41 brought back memories.
i'm so glad you explained that one police yeonjun dad joke it was so funny LMAOOO
i wonder if taehyun being left handed affects his writing, making it seem like is faster
Taehyun is also left handed.. as a left handed person, I also tend to write really fast
I agree! As a german, I feel like when he speaks it kind of sounds familiar, maybe it really is a german-like tone.
@@hamtrash thank you for confirming! I‘m so so sure. He literally sounds like a german speaking in english too haha. It‘s crazy
i dont think his dad speaks german
@@wey4462 i explained how you can have that accent because your parents have it etc. That’s what happening in the Huening family. It‘s soo eminent
Yeeeesssss Billy is Kai biased 👏👏👏
This is really cute and educational!
Billy, my Korean language teacher introduced me to you! I passed my tests and I want to thank you(Your videos were a BIG help!). Thank you! Moving on up!
Great to hear!
Thank u soo much TXT and the best korean teacher???
와우!!! 이 영상은 정말 유용합니다. 모아인데도 잘 모르던 것들을 알게됐어요. 신기방기....
감사합니다. 많은 시간과 노력이 즐거움으로 승화되었기를 바랍니다.
"Or you could also just trying being born again, in Korea!" too real 😭
i love the pictures in the back ❤❤❤❤
Thank you sonsengnim
as moa im so proud and happy to see a txt video on your channel ❤
Aww, I have been fascinated by Kai's linguistic journey! So fun to hear the analysis of his Korean speaking. Great video!
Thank u for making this vid. i really enjoy and learn things. i didn't even realized its a 1 hour vid.😅 ❤
JUST NOTICED THE PHOTOS IN THE BACK 😭😭
Wow omg I'm so excited to watch this! As a huge TXT fan and someone who now knows basic korean because of you I'm super excited omg..
휴닝이는 초등학교때부터 한국에서 살아서 솔직히 말투는 그냥 원어민 한국남자애들말투인데 아버지 영향인지 제스춰가 큰것같아요 ㅎㅎ
Latinos/Brazilians make a lot of gestures and are very expressive when speaking, and especially since Kai's father came from northeastern Brazil, they are even more expressive, he must have gotten it from there haha
Yeonjun dad jokes is the best 💗 근데 뒤에 있는 사진들 왤케 웃겨..ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 너무 귀여워~ 울 투바투를 잘 설명해 주셔서 감사합니다
this video combined my love for txt and my love for the korean language. such an easy watch 10/10
Its funny that huening kai uses egg yolk in his speaking voice, his singing is actually quite deep.
I LOVE THIS!! ❤❤❤ thank you for doing a video of txt!!
Todos me encantan, visuales, talentosos, divertidos, pero admito que amo la risa de Kai, y el sentido de humor de Beomgyu😂😵💫🇰🇷💙💙💙💙💙🇰🇷💪🏻
Woooow! Thank you for alllll your hard work!! So impressive!! Love that!
i really like this video, i feel like i have understood a side of them and details that i cannot, made me love them even more ❤
Graxias por hacer un video de mis tubatu...estoy aprendiendo coreano y ellos son mi grupo favorito...por lo que me divertí mucho viendo el video..y poder aprender de la forma diferente de algunos miembros❤❤
Taehyun is actually an extrovert! And I think what he means when he says he's cold is that he has no interest in people he doesn't care about. Obviously he cares about moa so he's friendly to us 😊
This was really interesting as someone who's not actively learning Korean but would like to
This was so fun like thank you so much
This was an amazing video, thank you billy ! ^^ 💕
It was so much fun, interesting, and useful to watch your video. Thank you for your hard work and research for each member. That has motivated me to keep learning Korean! 🥰
Yay! I was waiting for txt~ thank youuu
Kai’s my fav too!! I’m glad he’s yours ❤
This is so much fun to watch. Thank you for sharing this. It was so nice to finally have an insight on what they actually sound like in their own language. 😊
