  • The goal of this mod was to allow the player to play as any costume in any level they want, including the ones that are exclusive to certain levels.
This was achieved by using Seil Weiss's Power Up Exploit hack, and includes the following additional costumes:
Gentleman Spongebob and Patrick by RedBerd36,
    Karate Patrick by TLL,
and lastly, Barnacle Boy Patrick also by TLL.
I decided to include these as I wanted an excuse to use all the character slots. It also comes bundled with the menu option to toggle between 30 and 60 FPS I made just because I felt like including it.

Keep it up man. If not you, who'll mod the most obscure games?

I like this mod because selecting costumes is much easier than how it's done in the actual game, and my favorite QoL mods are the ones that add convenience. I'm not sure how much of a programming expert you are (or how much actual programming you did in this; it could be someone else's programming), but I wish that selecting a costume for SpongeBob and Patrick was much more efficient. From what I can tell, both of their costume settings were laid out when the shoulder buttons could've moved to either SpongeBob or Patrick's costumes. However, I have not used the mod, so I'm unsure if that button is already used. It would've been a good idea to have one screen for SpongeBob's costumes and one for Patrick's and use the shoulder buttons to switch between those two menus. I'm assuming this is due to limitations. From what I can tell, this would affect loading times, which are already deficient in the GameCube version (though this is running off Dolphin). Still, the usefulness of the mod of the mod is affected because you have to reload the level to get your costume. I would assume loading in all the models (some of which use unique animations) would put too much pressure, so I guess that feature wasn't implemented. I'm not blind to the fact that programming is a pain in the butt.
