Nice work. I lay a lot of stone, and Arriscraft is my favorite manufactured stone. If you get the chance to acquire an adjustable stone splitter, do it! It's so easy to cut lengths on alpha stones. All you have to do is Facebook them, once cut for length.

Mortar is a bit wet for me I preferred it a bit dryer as the stone doesn’t suck the moisture out as brick does, good job bro

Nice work Ryan. Personally I use the hammer and chisel method. But I don’t have the skill you have with the brick hammer. Cheers

For splitting I would prefer a large bolster on that stone with a 900g to 1.5kg hammer. For facing I would use a scutch chisel or scutch hammer. Just my preference really. That's nice work.

If you used a white cement, colourant, or lime mortar you'd get a nice creamy coloured mix to match that stone.

Some like the contrast. It's the original look of a stone wall.If you want all one colour, then you do stucco.

How are the stones secured to the building? I know that the bottom row tends to have a nail placed into the wall but what about the remaining stones? The mortar only seems to be placed on the front of the stones.

I see you got your new level! Your second cutting method is much faster. And I always like it when I only need one tool at a time. When ordering stone do you specify the number of small, medium and large or just provide the square footage and let the supplier figure it out? Great job as always.

    • @1kbconstruction824

Thanks 👍 Yeah I finally saved to buy a new level,😀most of the time i let the suppliers figure it out
