No chicken out on the log bridge? Drowning the bike seems hardly worth it...especially for the 4 strokes. At least the water is clean tho.
Crossing that narrow bridge or taking the bypass route is a study in risk and reward.

Wet wood can be very slippery, I have seen and experienced a wooden automobile bridge at Green Ridge that you had to lock your knees to keep the bike up.

I think the reward for crossing that log should be a major say 5 km short cut.
How do they not hydrolock the engines when 1. dropping them into the water running.. 2. cranking them after drowned? Do they install a decompression valve?
I can see how a two stroke would have an advantage after getting water out from above the piston even if there's still some in the crank case as they're still lubricated by the oil in the fuel, but how are they clearing the water in the first place?
Yeah I was wondering the same thing also because those bikes look like they're taking a beating also not just from the rocks and everything like that but from the water damage
Are any of these bikes allowed to use a rekluse clutch?
That log is a terrible idea. Whoever put that in the race should never design a course again. Dangerous and destructive to the bikes.
Yepp that’s all red bull is going towards. Makes the sport pretty lame. Save that stuff for the trials guys that’s not what hard enduro is about

Hard enduro is great, and always some risk. But the single log crossing? Organizers need to give their heads a shake - somebody could get seriously injured.
Boys need to do some more mountain biking.

That is not an Enduro, Trials maybe, but laid out by a Madman with a P.O. ed attitude and hatred for fellow riders, an Enduro is supposed to be fun, they forgot the 10 foot deep mudpit, and the rattlesnake challenge, and the snipers that got to potshoot at you.
