In this mind-blowing lecture, Swamiji says that desire is source of all mental afflictions. Anger arises when the fulfillment of desire is obstructed. Anger --> delusion --> bewilderment of memory --> ruin of the intellect --> failure to discriminate --> downfall of the soul. Thank you, Swamiji, for explaining the cycle of mental afflictions.

Swamiji explains that desire is the root or the mother of all mental diseases. If desires gets fulfilled, it leads to greed and unfulfillment leads to anger.. This is such a powerful gem of wisdom. Proper nurturing of desires and diverting it towards God can help us get rid of all these mental diseases.. Thank you Swamiji..

The whole world is under the sway of fulfilling desires. In that process, we harm others and even more than that we deteriorate our own peace of mind. Whether the desire is fulfilled or not, we get entangled in negative emotions and karma. Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj has a unique way of explaining Vedic philosophy by giving such beautiful life examples and wonderful justification. Swamiji! 🙏🙏You are great in preaching such precious teachings to us, the generation which is running after overwhelming desires due to very tempting and infatuating materialistic world.
    Thank you Swamiji 🙏🙏

When you say mind and world are in same domine of 'ras' and also you are giving some advice to put God in that mind. Wereas God is above mind. It's conflicting. When someone inside us able to put God thought into mind instead of a worldly thought why don't that entity cannot remain in God. Why that entity has to lower itself to mind level which is nothing but the world itself. Your advices won't bring any change. The person will remain in the same misery watching his mind putting God!

Desire is the mother of two babies anger and greed. This is profound knowledge, shaken me ftom the roots. What is there any wrong to desire simple things like chocolates and ice-creams, there is no harm in desiring those things. But I came to know through this video, that they are actual root cause of all miseries. By desiring anything we give lead to mind, then it will come into power to make us do as per it's wish.
