    I'm working on a Japanese made Caterpillar 330L which has no computer hookups for Caterpillar Electronic Technician (CAT ET). We had a power problem on the left track that was believed not to be the pump due to all the other hydraulics working on that pump functioning normally.
    What ended up happening was the other items functioning normally were not, but they were not so adversely affected that they slid under the radar and the operator gave them a pass. This is the classic Red Herring, in which the repair procedure is led in a different direction. I started a diagnostic series onto other sections of the unit.
    What you're watching is me vomiting raw video footage onto RUclips platform versus editing which is taking me to darn long and I don't have time to sit in front of the computer. This repair series is just an experiment. We'll see how it goes. I might go back to editing but I've just got such a backlog of video footage and this particular repair there was nothing out there so I wanted to put something out there.

    I saw a 320 with Japanese hydraulics YEARS ago and this is why you get paid for being a contortionist! Blessings!
