Great job! I’m decluttering my house this summer (massive undertaking) and if I kept everything that was perfectly good-I’d never get rid of much! There are so many helpful rules I’m learning, 20/20 if it’s $20 or less and takes less than 20 minutes to replace- let it go. Keep drawers half empty. Things like that. Each time you declutter, it’s one step toward a more peaceful home. Our stuff takes a mental toll. Oh one more thing- they said to imagine your stuff has a voice and is singing. Is your room a lovely harmony or a cacophony of too much noise? I loved that one! So much to learn and to declutter! One final thing that’s helped with keeping my makeup collection more under control- expiration date stickers that are bold. I don’t have to follow it if I don’t want to, but I know what it is. That way I know what to use first, when to throw it away, and when I know I need to pass it on if I won’t use it before it goes bad but someone I know will. ❤ keep up the great work!!
Love these “rules” for keeping organized-thanks for sharing. I let my bedroom become a hoarding spot for makeup and lots of medical equipment so, like yourself, I have taken that on this summer too, so understand the energy that goes toward that. Good for us! Keep up the hard work!❤
I think it's totally fair to like a product but not keep every single product in your collection. It helps others see what they might want to try out based on your recommendations. ❤
Your eyes look beautiful! I would love to see you use a fluffier brush for your blush. I think it would blend out a little better. Blush seems to be the big trend right now and I’m loving it. I decluttered a MAC palette and gifted it to a friend of mine that LOVES it. As long as the B&B palette is going to a good home, you won’t have any regrets.
The CoverGirl Lash Blast mascara (in the purple tube, which I think is length + volume) is my holy grail of holy grails and it has been for probably over a decade. It’s not just the way it goes on, and really doesn’t smudge, but it’s how it ACTUALLY WASHES OFF CLEANLY. GAH!! I can’t tell you how many mascaras I try that are the holy grails of other people, and they budge when they’re supposed to stay and stay when they’re supposed to wash off. It’s so frustrating. I always go back to Lash Blast. I think I’m honestly done even trying anything else, at this point. Like I love the way Maneater goes on, but it is SO annoying when it’s time to wash it off. It’s like it’s self-replicating and continuing to seep out of my lashes! 😂
Hey Samantha do you think you could try the new Maybelline mascara called firework??? I just got it and so far I'm loving it cuz it makes me look like I have long whispy eyelashes when I barely have any to begin with lol
