You got that right ! Bluegill on a fly rod is a lot of fun, if you didn't make it to the end of the video, I caught some Cat's on light tackle in a storm in New Orleans. thanks for watching !

Hi we’re planning on doing this later this year, trying to figure out how long it will take us and what route we will take. Did you plan ahead and make RV park reservations in advance or did you just find places along the way?

We planned all the stops in advance, tried to limit driving to about 7-10 hours a day max. We drove out the 10 and back on the 40, 40 was a bit more scenic, but it hits high elevations in spots so it would not be a good winter route. 450 miles in one day seemed like about the Max. We did longer drives on a few days but it was very tiring, and rain/weather can be a factor that can really slow things down. Hit a few KOA’s, some state park campgrounds, and a few nicer RV Resorts. Overall it was a fantastic trip. Thanks for watching! Any other questions please reach out.
