Well let me tell you what happened since I was already living off of an apartment building when I started making sales and sales bonuses I took all of those sales bonuses, I put them away. I didn’t spend more than I normally do. I didn’t take on big trips. I didn’t buy a new car with 18 months I have made $175,000. I was able to save about 40 took away about 20 I was able to clean off all of my credit, I was able to give my grandchildren some money. I was also able to buy a house all the days were long and hard during a certain period but that’s what you gotta do save work harder and if only for a short period I will no longer ever work that hard at my age, almost 12 hour days that’s not for me but I was able to get ahead. This is solid advice to a point. If you're in a company that you can see no room for growth after 6 months start looking for another job ASAP. I worked at ups for 5yrs and I had the best numbers and everything I ran myself ragged. And I saw countless people get promotions left and right and they sucked at their job. I asked one day why I never been picked I got high scores on the test and interview for supervisor and they flat out told me I'm too good to be taken off the floor. No bump in pay for the being the floor man. So I quit and moved to another state and did oilfield work for 4 yrs 3 were awesome made so much money but my pusher got on hard drugs and almost killed me on-site 4x and I went to our boss and said I don't feel comfortable working with him and they kept asking was it drugs and everyone could tell but I didn't snitch. They moved me to another temp team and 2 days later my old pusher got caught with an oz of meth and they I got kicked off the new team and no one wanted me because apparently in the oilfield they are superstitious. A yr later I got the notice I was laid off

That first tip cutting costs makes such a HUGE difference. I went from living semi-comfortably paycheck to paycheck in a 2 bed apartment, moved in with an older couple whose kids are out of the house and already having their own kids. I got my own room, which is enough. I got my own bathroom, which is more than I need. Ontop of that, I no longer have a car, instead I ride a $100 bike to a job that is close enough I can cut that expense of a vehicle out of my budget almost entirely (still have to buy inner tubes every once in a while). With the money I'm saving this way, I have literally 1/3 of my cash flow as "free money" that I have been saving, investing, and putting into the things I need to start my own business or fuel my success.
I can't emphasize enough that if your main stress in life is making ends meet, there's probably a way you can live a bit less comfortably but find even more comfort from being financially stable. Not having netflix, or youtube music, or a new pair of shoes, none of this matters to me when I'm sitting in a park in some of my thinking/brainstorming time and I don't have to even think about how to pay rent for one second. Being less comfortable is something you can get used to, and if that buys you the ability to think clearly about what you can do to achieve greater success then the value you get from the cheaper options is immeasurable.

I’ve been pulling myself from the debts of being an average person living paycheck to paycheck and I started my own buisness last year and we did just shy of 2mill in the first 12 months I listen to these videos because they remind me I’m doing the right thing sacrificing I work 7 days a week since I started and I’m getting a lot of push back from friends and family and in a few years I’m hoping it will pay off and who ever needs to hear this I believe this is the way to be successful, work for it like you life depends on it because one day how you live will depend on what you worked

Love this. I am just over two years into my "hustle" and doing extra work and improving my skills. I've put so many hours into this and I am finally starting to see results. I have sacrificed a lot of my time, but the amount of time I will now gain for the rest of my life is so worth it. I am on track to not have to work a 9 to 5 and I am in my late 20s. Listen to Alex and do exactly what he says. Remember it takes 10,000 hours to master a skill.

GREAT ADVICE! It won't be easy but it's do able. I like the way that none of this is sugar coated because it's definitely not going to be easy. When you fail, put your head down and keep pushing man.
