Behind the scenes they refer to them as "tools," and "equipment." And if the public could see how the dogs are abused and tortured by their handlers, which is carefully hidden and lied about, all decent people would be outraged. When a video leaks, they always call it "one bad apple," but this is institutionalized cruelty, taught and required.
