🎨Shall is more formal or literary - Shall I or Shall We are used to suggest something to people surrounding you or to your audience. Shall We for suggestion. Can for permission. In short, well explained.
Very confidently explained ! But as I was following the distinct, yet subtle, differences immediately my mind was attempting to reconcile this poser. Which is proper: Can I go for a walk? -OR- May I go for a walk? Does one address the ability; while the other seeks permission?? Thank you! So I am in keeping with this holiday!
But I've seen a video about this topic and the teacher said " you can use shall and will interchangeably for example " shall I open the window and will I open the window " but I feel that the second example is about the future while the other is about suggestion.
In questions, they have different meanings so not interchangeable. Shall I is a suggestion and will I is just a question about the future (or a prediction)
I think you might be mistaken.can is also used to make suggestions. Where can we go this weekend? We can go to a restaurant if you like. I hope this helps
Mam suppose some guests come to my home and i say to them.. "Mm i will bring some colddrink" OR "Mm i shall bring some colddrink" Soo what is the difference between these two? I feel in shall one like I'm asking them whether they want to drink or not???? Sorry i couldn't get it mam 🙏
after best regarding why sometimes I fiend the Google translation different than your lessons? will do means in Google translation it is ordered for somebody else in your lesson it means I am going to do it. i am sorry because i said that. Best wishes. god bless you
Pardon me please, but I have to interrupt you..😅😅 to my knowledge: when you saying: " I shall do something " it is meaning the statement, not " maybe, or perhaps "... it is : : "by hook or crook" 😅😅😅
