This is a very exciting project visit for several reasons. One, this is one of those revitalization project that converts a negative space into a positive one based on the current economic needs. Secondly, this is an exclusive visit where we get to get the first glimpse of the construction site.
Once known as the golden triangle, this location is truly the heart of KL City. In the junction of Jalan Hang Tuah and Jalan Pudu, BBCC is also connected to the Monorail, MRT, and LRT transportation system. Besides, significant addresses such as Bukit Bintang, TRX, Times Square, Petaling Street and etc are just stone throws away.
I really enjoy the integration of the project into the site from culture, to usage, infrastructure and programs. Using the upcoming Lalaport Mall as the buffer away from the busy junction, it will be accompanied by stratafied offices, entertainment centres, residential towers and etc. Personally I also like the emphasis on the pedestrian experience of the residents.
Also BBCC will be adjacent to several other flagship projects such as the PNB 118 and TRX but that comes with overwhelming density and supply to the market. Last but not least, some locals might be sensitive towards the history of this site.

I recently stayed in this residence, Oh my gosh the amount of premium elements were amazing, will it be possible if you review the property again? it is REALLY good in location and very nice decor. Also the infinity pool is absolutely AWESOME, the glass floor was also great.
The BBCC buyers should be super excited to able to see their exact unit in so advance. Wish to see you review on Duta Park by Malton

Hi Sean, thanks for the great video. It is very educational as usual. Just a suggestion, it would be great if you can mention the architects who designed the building in your future video, just to bring more awareness to both the architects and buyers, in hope that they will resolve the "kinks" and other architecture details for the future projects. I think architecture in the country as a whole still has a lot of work to do. Cheers mate

A good example of TOD executed in Malaysia. Complete transit hub for the properties and public transport. I have tried walking from Hang Tuah all the way to KL Tower, I hope city hall can improve more on the pedestrian walkways in Kuala Lumpur.
The design of the unit is rather "kinky" I would say, honestly I don't mind staying it for a short time of period via AirBnB, especially if Sony Zepp going to bring in some Japanese artists performing in the concert hall next to it.
Excellent review and really special POV on the bare bone of this Mitsui Lalaport Mall.

This is an investors dream Unit had it not been a Covid situation. But I think they will still flok to it. Airbnb and other sites will be happy lah!! Bang in middle of all the action in KL.
Goverment should plan affordable home in city centre to revive KL city that is half dead now..and also to ease traffic going in the city centre.

Pudu jail was a significant part of kl urban fabric. It's a shame the Developer choose to wipe the slate clean. KL is becoming a city without memory.
Well they kept the feature wall. But I prefer it to be a vibrant mall compared to a jail in the centre of the city. There's no function to have the jail in such a strategic location anyway.
That's my take.
Any chance will cover Sunway Artessa, Wangsa Maju or Bellfield?
I like that you include the fact that this in build on existing Pudu Prison as one of the 3 things you don't like. For me, I don't mind if this was build on an ex prison land. However if the said prison used to execute prisoners (as in the case of this prison), then I think that is my limit lor. lol. There are many nicer places in KL that I can choose without the fear of living amongst the departed. It may suit some people but for me I won't even live near a cemetery. Good luck to those who intend to buy here.

at 1.5Mil 2 bedroom. Of course, they targeting foreigners to buy. even locals cant afford that. just look at the 8conlay. local just own 4% out of the whole building.
Older folks will recall walking by the outer yellow wall of the jail, with colorful art!

They build this building in the top of penjara pudu land.. I’m not sure about taking a risk to buy this property.. it’s going to be extremely haunted I assume.. even Berjaya Times Square located next to Penjara Pudu is so haunted.. so many people committed suicide in there.. just imagine this upcoming properties on that land.. 😅 I hope those owners who already bought this property will stay safe and be ok 👌🏻
I think the 3 main developers will understand that issue as well, and address it from the start.
Looking at the sales progress as well, I think generally it's ok for now.

Many also apartment and office buildings were built on old (relocated) cemeteries. it's not a problem. even the site of the house most of us do not know the origin of the site. if the old graves have been covered by natural factors, how do we know. Humans have inhabited this land for thousands of years.
Great video for viewing even during construction. One point I dont like about the unit is the kitchen island, bulky and obstructs the flow around such a small unit. AND you can't remove them. I wonder why construction company/developers don't have consultant like you working for them, such a loss to end users like us. Keep it up.

In this layout the fixed kitchen "table" seems like narrowing the space a lot and somehow uncomfortable with it's sharp edges.
how they link and access to Merdeka MRT? Believe still few hundred meters away? underground? pathway with shelter? or just a normal road from Hang Tuah Monorail station?
They are building a covered pedestrian walkway over. Great question!!
@@iherng thanks for reply. It would be great if Monorail, LRT and MRT to have unpaid and paid to paid link as they intend to be a transit hub. I'm wondering why they don't build the link into the Berjaya Time Square? What if is raining and we have to wait at the link...
there should be a pedestrian bridge walkway that connects berjaya times square - bbcc - merdeka mrt station/ pnb118.

The first time I see this mega project , BBCC in KL . I think it will be iconic landmark in KL . but will spending 1.5mil for the 2 bedroom; the interior design and quality looks a bit low . ( sorry , no offense) .
For this kind of luxury project , I think a digital smart lock at main door should be basic requirement . besides , the quality of cabinet/wardrobe looks like not up to standard .
The kitchen socket should be automatically pop up once user touch ? But it looks manually.
By the way , the location of air con in living area , will it be too close the balcony ?
I think the owner have to spend some cash to renovate it .
Well it's fitted but not furnished, so technically there's no ID currently. So owner will still need to do up the unit.
