The fur is not a good way to tell a fake, it's a natural product and varies in color heavily and both plump and fullness, walk into a retail CG store and every jacket is different.

Hi All. I purchased a Canada goose fusion expedition. All tags where real. I found out that was fake when I sent for cleaning in Canada goose. I was told that Canada goose has a number that only real jackets have. It’s like serial number for Apple products. So be careful not only tags but the number has to be checked.
So I notice the label on the coat says L/G but the tag just says L. So shouldn’t these match if it real?

Hi, thanks for this, I was looking at one on eBay today and once you showed the difference in the badges and the tags you can easily see there is a problem with it, which I wouldn't have even noticed until you pointed out all the faults. To all those people that are saying why pay so much for a parka, I'll just say that having been in Canada near the artic circle in the summer and winter, I would say £900 would be a bargain. Who would want to be up in the cold with a fake that didn't do what the real ones do, i.e. keep you warm. / alive !! Are they the same people that would buy fake disc brake pads just because they are cheaper !!

How do you get the exact same thing? You get some knock off coat that won’t keep you warm like a genuine one and will no doubt fall apart. And you look cheap next to people that can afford the real thing.

Lots of people up here in Edinburgh have these jackets up town mostly Chinese people. It's not cold enough to have them it's a status symbol. Imagine wearing it to a shopping centre you would sweat non stop. I have hybridge hoody it's warm enough. The others are to thick and expensive.

At the end of the day if you want this jacket to last a season buy the fake, but if you want a jacket that is going to last for 30 years as a Canada Goose or Woolrich parka will, buy the real deal. I would never buy a fake jacket as the quality of the materials will be so poor.
