I’m from Germany. Very beautiful video. I was in Arizona again for 6 weeks in November 2023 and drove here too. Beautiful. Unfortunately the road was also closed there. Thank you very much for the nice video

It hasn't changed. It's still a tourist spot. At least since I have been here. 36 years. The trail just opened at Fish creek hill, but only 4x4s and utvs can travel it.
@@GaryFeltman i heard it was open , which made me happy...last time through to fish creek and up to the dam i was driving a funky 2wd van ; is it really only 4x4 now ? legally ? it's a hairy ride down , but i'd do it again time for these guys to re film all the way through
@gaylandbarney2231 ,only utv,s and 4x4s are allowed for now. I went out to go down the mountain to fish creek but at the top there were 2 DPS vehicles and was letting certain vehicles through.
@gaylandbarney2231,I used to do the trail in a 77 Toyota E5 station wagon and also took the back trail through the desert to the 4 peaks. This was in the 90s. That Toyota went all over the state, even to the bottom of Roosevelt dam. Had to be pulled back up the hill by a cable and a water truck.😂
Fantastic spring trip, thank you very much for it. I love your movies, I watch the beauty of your country with delight :) I rest and dream when I can travel like this! Regards very much!
Was great to see this road, unfortunately it is not allowed by the rv rental companies to drive it with an rv, so I will have to skip it on my next trip to The USA. Thanks for the video, greetings from a roadtripper from Germany!
That's too bad about RV's; could the Rental Agencies actually have GPS recording equipment "secretly" installed in their fleets that would betray customers that drive the "wrong" routes?? Perhaps the next best thing might be a short-term purchase, then a quick turnaround resale of a vehicle arranged well in advance; I don't know . . . I am aware of certain roads in New Zealand, Australia, Central/South America, the Indian Subcontinent (so much more of Asia as well), and, lots of Africa where the roads are so primitive, remote, and physically dangerous for ordinary motorists from civilized nations to drive, just barely wide enough for a small compact sedan to drive, with VERTICAL dropoffs of more than THOUSANDS of Metres, with grades steeper than San Francisco streets. Then there's the issues of regional, international, religious, and criminal strife. I can understand those situations.
@@AdventureEveryDay POOOHHH, PHOOEY!!!! They just want to turn ALL of our beautiful wild hinterlands into one GARGANTUAN AREA 51, and cram us impossibly into relatively small metropolitan zones, such as in "Soylent Green" or "Nineteen-Eighty-Four" with surveillance looming in every nook and cranny--privacy and solitude a thing of the past--and only the elite plutocrats and oligarchs having access to our wildernesses.
It's great you got this at this time after we had got so much rain during winter. Wildflowers are awesome this year! Love the food, beverages, and music at Tortilla Flat. The one shop has a variety of craft soda pop.......I love the butterscotch. From where the road is closed at Fish Creek Hill Overlook it descends a steep 700ft in 1.5 miles to the creek and sheer cliff walls where it's not unusual to see Long Horn Sheep scaling them! A neat hike in cool weather if you're up for it (the rock slide occurred just before creek). I did see a sheep once right at the parking area for the overlook too.
Yes, the amount of wildflowers and greenery was shocking to see! Same thing in the Mojave desert too. We definitely want to do the rest of the drive on Apache Trail someday and hopefully see some longhorn sheep! Thanks for watching!
I've always wanted to see what the whole Apache Trail looks like. This video was the best one I have found and wow- amazing footage and beautiful scenery. 😍
🌵😍🎥 This video is absolutely stunning! The scenic views of the Apache Trail in Tonto National Forest are breathtaking. It's amazing to see the beauty of Arizona in 4K. 🙌 Thanks for sharing this adventure with us, AdventureEveryDay!
Your videos are fantastic! I watched Tom Andrews' channel several years ago where he drove on the Apache Trail. This was before the landslide. I had to watch the video in stops and starts. Those narrow roads got to me. Video cameras have come a long way since Tom's video. The trail beyond the landslide is scary as can be!!
I have been down this same road several times in the last three weeks. I have paned for gold in most of the mountain streams along the same path that your car was videoing . This was during March , 2024 for me when I did this.
Stunningly beautiful nature ;awsome tour ! Big five 🖐 I've been in Arizona ;but never been in this area. I notice big similarities about landscape between what I see and southern east region of Morocco.
I truly appreciate this rare video. The sceneries are superb and so distracted. And I sure hope all drivers "KEEP" their eyes on the road which is "VERY DANGEROUS" that it demands all drivers to slow down to 15mph or even to 10 mph at some curves. Or else your good trip would be ruined. This road leads to nowhere. It has a dead end. Thanks for the good video.

Thanks for watching! Happy you enjoy the drive!
Que passeio incrível 😍. Eu amei!
Last time I was on that road tortilla flat was just a rest stop, Arizona has changed a lot since 1960.
Can't imagine how much things have changed since then!

That’s unfortunate, maybe they’ll allow you to at least drive the paved section of the road which is still a worthwhile trip.
@@swithinbarclay4797 I would imagine they most likely do have tracking devices installed somewhere in the vehicle.
