Happy Thanksgiving to all you folks that must be out on that run on Turkey day and trust me when I say if I was cooking ALL of you that might be in our area would be invited to our house. My hubby got hurt falling out of his truck so he's home for a bit with rotator cuff injury!! Please say a prayer for him when you get a minute...all y'all are in our prayers....please be safe and have fun on that run drivers!!!

Well actually get to see the bull wagons out on the road because I’m driving commercial truck hauling freight to the post office but I’m out there with my brothers driving right now at the moment still getting my commercial experience Hollyn mail for the post office but I at least get to be out there with my drivers on the road I finally get to look out that window again I love my freedom getting the drive and just being out there with them

I miss pulling the rack from 81-99 I got taken out the chute broke my back and hip an knocked 5 disc outta my neck. Whoever said pulling cattle was a easy job you get one a little bullheaded I'd love to get back in a truck but I can't take the vibration an bouncing. Be Safe keep the rubber planted with the shiny side up.
Getting my A model 425 CAT rebuilt so I will be back out with a cattle pot . See you boys soon.
At the 6:09 mark that Fruit Loop/Freight Shaker truck looks like a 1980-1984 model. Their best year models were the 1985-86 owner opp model as they gave Pete and KW a run for their money on that truck years. You could order them with the KTA 600, jake 3 stages, and rig it to over 700hp with a 6x5 OD at over 1640 ft-tq that would eat just about any transmission up back then. Fruit Loop was the first to put lights on the driver's mudflap chrome bar in 85 and it was not long after they kind of moved over to the Petes and KW. Have to admit that those two years' models had the best leather, layout, and looks of any truck. A lot of us would have traded our Petes back then for one is we all were not top-heavy in a trade. Fruitloop was about $25,000 cheaper than an owner opp Pete, but in four years the Pete would only lose about $25,000 of $95,000 whereas the Fruitloop would drop to around $35,000 set on a lot for sale. That pot and the spare tire was an accident waiting to happen if you did not pay attention to what you were doing. More than one hand has gotten hurt or had to chase a tire down a ditch, across a road, or down a ramp into traffic. You slip on the frame without a walkway getting that tire down and your nuts were going to pay the price as they met the drive shaft. Three of us took over driving three trucks after a driver we knew had that kind of accident. (They did save his gonads, but we were told after a few weeks later. He did not drive again for over 6 months that I know of. He was hurt really bad.) I got to drive a brand new 359 Pete from that ordeal. Miss those days and the way all of us trucked.

I have two questions. Do they still build Cattle Reefers because some of the wagons I see in these videos have something on the nose that resembles a refrigeration unit? How about that green KW with the Mercury sleeper? Recon where they found one of those in that good a shape? Amazing.
The boxes on front of the bull rack's are storage for "winter kit" panel's ( Plex glass fillers for punch side trailers).
The mint coloured Kenny "MINT CONDITION" w/ Mercury sleeper is a retro from "4 States" & for $16,000 you can have one too + installment charge .....

These videos are my connection to days gone by. Thanks for the reply and I truly from the bottom of my heart appreciate everything you guys do to help feed America. P.S. it's good to know that the guys at 4-state are still doing there part to keep those old retro looking rigs alive. They are the best looking rides, but then again I never saw a bad looking ride on a RMBH video. It was pretty dumb of me to think anybody would still.pull a cattle reefer. Those things were the worst idea anybody ever had!
