I bought Lady C's book Harry and Meghan: The Real Story the day it came out and finished it 2 days later. I bought Finding Freedom the day it came out and it took nearly 2 months to finish! Its only redeeming feature is that it does get more interesting in the second half -- mainly because they don't even get married till halfway through!

I took all my kids to ballroom classes, and my youngest son would go along to my dance classes when he was around 7 or 8 and danced with a little girl there. I'm so glad I finished your book before listening to this critique. Meghan was too ignorant and viewed herself as too grandiose to use a lady's golden rule of ears open and mouth shut. She was too selfish and self absorbed to play this game well. I will say of Diana she realized her limitation as not being extremely bright therefore you SAW her much more than hearing her. If Meghan had any emotional intelligence at all she would have realized the importance of the RF to Americans and not just the UK. She would have played by the rules, endeared herself to the world, THEN start the victim narrative. She discredited herself this discredited her story. I was born and raised in New York City (Long Island City, Far Rockaway, Jamaica, Queens, and finally on Long Island). I'm so glad I finished your book before listening to this critique. Meghan was too ignorant and viewed herself as too grandiose to use a lady's golden rule of ears open and mouth shut. She was too selfish and self absorbed to play this game well. I will say of Diana she realized her limitation as not being extremely bright therefore you SAW her much more than hearing her. If Meghan had any emotional intelligence at all she would have realized the importance of the RF to Americans and not just the UK. She would have played by the rules, endeared herself to the world, THEN start the victim narrative. She discredited herself this discredited her story. Bright as she is, she's still emotionally immature and overplayed her hand. But watching them act stupid is half the fun so we are lucky for her ignorance... Or are we?

I have just been reading 'The Other Side of the Coin' by Angela Kelly - a wonderful book. The people writing Finding Freebies should read it and find out how to produce a well written and interesting royal book.

I believe this book did the opposite of what M, H and the authors wanted. It vindicated what the youtubers, bloggers, journalists and others had been saying right from the beginning. Everything done was an act, planned and executed. We saw pics from Skippys wedding the car pic after Mountbatten Music Festival, his look of daggers at Commonwealth Ceremony. None of those touched on except to say how sad, that it shouldn't have come to that. Victims in all, in a scenario they created.

I truly enjoy listening to your review of the “book” - one that I would not even spend a single dollar on. You have no idea how much I appreciate the fact that you have properly been digging your eyes out and holding back from screaming having to read all the inaccuracies, fibs (I am being delicate here), and awful grammar. I do love your willing to give YOUR honest (not politically correct nonsense) opinions and comments about the treacle mush in that “book”. To be quite honest, I have been wanting to purchase YOUR book, but would so love the British version rather than the American rewrite. I lived in England for a number of years while my husband was in the USAF (we had two fantastic tours there and loved every minute). We even sent our children to the local British Catholic School and never regretted that decision. I still have a British accent that really comes out when I am speaking with British people or watching my favourite British television series! That said, when I read something written by an British person, I prefer having the proper spelling. I do hope you find that makes sense 😇. If you could provide an address or online provider, I would purchase the book ASAP. (On a side note...... I heard you mention in one of your chats about having been to New York. I was born and raised in New York City (Long Island City, Far Rockaway, Jamaica, Queens, and finally on Long Island). It is so sad to see what this current Mayor and Governor and allowed to happen to the City! There is a video on You Tube showing all the boarded up stores and empty streets. I haven’t LIVED there since I married in 1975, but I USED to enjoy going home for visits. No more, though.It is such a sad and disgusting situation going on up there (I now lie in FL). My cousin wants to visit one of her brothers who is out of State and may not have long to live, but the “sweet” Mayor has decided he will fine anyone going against his draconian rules $10,000.00 and possibly jail. Did you ever think you would hear of the bustling New York City closing down and seeing blocks of stores closed and boarded up, perhaps never to open again? Would love your opinion on that. Some questions: So Harry and Meghan paid the Frogmore Cottage renovation debt? All at once instead of the drawn-out payment plan they originally had? Are they trying to squash some of the increasing anger that the British taxpayers are feeling toward them? Do they think that paying the debt is going to turn around their diminishing public image? Is there someone in the background who is coming up with this money in the same way that others have provided housing and private jets? What's going on here?

I have always been curious about the role of Prince Charles concerning Harry's behavior over the past two years. Do you feel Charles is showing leadership in dealing with the situation or is he too emotionally conflicted as a parent. I feel William would be move decisive about Harry's future within the Royal family.

P.S. Do you mind terribly giving your opinion on Earl Spencer's books? (Charles Spencer, Princess Diana's younger brother for US YTers ☺) I've found his past books (surprisingly 🤣) excellent and am eagerly awaiting a pre-shipment of The White Ship. Not buying into the Disney princess marketing machine as a child, I was never a fan of the Princess of Wales (despite being 1/2 British!) I've enjoyed all his books and would be thrilled to hear your opinion on the subject. IMHO, Earl Spencer would make a fascinating future subject for you. Diana was essentially his surrogate Mother and his own personal life has been quite tumultuous. The recent generation of the Spencer family (Lady Kitty) would especially appeal to your son's generation. Do I hear a possibile Mother/Son(s) collab? 💜💜💜
