A million thanks to you, Sir! I had the hardest time getting into the BBM. It is not intuitive at all, but you have removed almost every obstacle. all of a sudden I can edit my own beats faster than anything! In my opinion, this is something that BB should have been doing themselves, but that does not seem to be happening. I have subscribed, and I hope you get a lot more! Your work is valuable!
This is what everybody has been waiting for & something that a premium product like BB should have provided anyway. Singular Sound should be paying you. Huge thanks & well done. If there is a software version as well as this online version please let us know.
I was using the desktop version but was having trouble with it so I checked out this version. I got exactly as far as you are at 3:30 and then instant I double click to add a drum, the composer pane disappears. I can see the line with "Bar count", etc but everything below that is blank, and even the "unfold" button is missing. There is no way to make it reappear unless I click I undo. I can't add a single note with out it disappearing. What am I doing incorrectly? The next question I have, If I try to edit a beat that is already in, I can double click and add a note, but once I add the note, I can't delete it. When I double click again, it stays there. HELP!
Thousand of thanks for what you've done : great work ! I purchased a Beatbuddy few weeks ago, and i don't know how would i do my beats and songs without your very ergonomic and esay-to-manage editor. I suscribed around a week ago, and i'm very happy whit it :) You deserves a crown. Kind regards, A french bassist.
Hi, using chrome on latest macOS and for the life of me cannot work out how to delete a bar. Also copy and paste doesn't seem to work - any ideas? Thanks
Deleting a bar is done by reducing the bar count (will remove the last bar; Shift+reduce bar count removes the first bar) I suggest going to forum.singularsound.com for further help as Singular Sound now own and manage the editor.
Very interested but I am currently using the Beatbuddy as a slave to the Boss RC500 looper so my Beatbuddy midi in is already in use. Can the beatbuddy connect to the phone via the Beatbuddy USB port? Or alternatively thru the midi in of the RC500 (will it pass thru correctly?)
This looks great, I have not really used the BB much because its a lot of toe presses to get through a song. So, can I use this to create a "1 tap song"? Could I use BBFF to copy and paste all the different song parts into the intro? And then it will be a "1 tap song" ? Because for me, I already use 1 foot for controlling my Organ synth (one foot fit on a volume Swell and Leslie sim pedal ) and 1 to stand on, so if standing up I can't smash the BB pedal to transition through the song parts.
This looks like a fantastic replacement for the ancient and crippled BeatBuddy Manager, and I'll be paying for it today. One comment about selecting individual components though (i.e., song parts); you mention holding down the Shift key while clicking individual components. But for decades, the standard for selecting individual components in nearly all apps/scenarios is to hold down the Control key and click on individual components. To select a group or range of components, you click on the first, then hold down the Shift key and click on the last, and it selects everything in between. When you update the app, can you please add the option to use Ctrl-click for selecting individual components instead of Shift-click? That would be great!
Can you play track from a certain point? In my case, I am creating the entire track in the intro only (basically one tap song), so a bit of a pain to have to play it from the start everytime. Especially if track is several minutes long.
Yes, there is a track position marker you can set by clicking in the bar. Playing the track (Space) will then play from that marker. To play from the beginning with the marker set, click Ctrl+Space / Cmd+Space
I designed the editor to replace BBL and BBM with a more friendly interface, so yes, give it a trial and let me know how it works for you. PS. Email me at support@bbff.rocks and I can help you fix a corrupted project.
Yes, the pedal plays drum loops of recorded drums. The samples are in WAV format, not MP3. Have a look at www.singularsound.com/products/beatbuddy The editor you see in the video is for creating the rhythm loops for the pedal. It can also build drum kits from your own WAV samples.
I don’t. The audio work gets done on the pedal. The editor is for building the MIDI tracks and putting them together into parts and songs that then get played on the pedal.

I’m so glad it opened up editing your own beats for you, I couldn’t hope for more. -Andrew

Thanks, they did ;-)
You can now access the editor directly from Singular Sound at bbmo.singularsound.com

Thanks for your kind words. I’m glad the editor has helped you.
Dude! Yes!! I will definitely be checking this out proper. Well done, you!
Thank you

@vukaform, you should be able to pass the MIDI thru the RC500. (But that would be for the BBFF App, not the editor shown in this video)
Why won't it allow me to add notes?
No reason it shouldn’t. Add notes by double-clicking in the note grid

That makes sense. Thanks for pointing it out

@@bbff_rocks Ok great, thanks.
I have found that BBL will corrupt the project and when I pull it back into BBM it won’t work properly. Do we use this app instead of BBM?
I designed the editor to replace BBL and BBM with a more friendly interface, so yes, give it a trial and let me know how it works for you.
PS. Email me at support@bbff.rocks and I can help you fix a corrupted project.
Can you use this on iPad?
Unfortunately not, due to limitations in the browser’s ability to open and save to folders
CAN THIS PEDAL PLAY REAL SAMPLER DRUMS LOOPS ? REAL SNARES REAL TOMS REAL PERCUSSION AS CONGAS BELLS, TIMBALES? WAVE FILES AND MP3 FILES ?
Yes, the pedal plays drum loops of recorded drums. The samples are in WAV format, not MP3.
Have a look at www.singularsound.com/products/beatbuddy
The editor you see in the video is for creating the rhythm loops for the pedal. It can also build drum kits from your own WAV samples.
@@bbff_rocks wow that's amazing. Do you have a video tutorial that shows how to play with loops and groves in audio format?
I don’t. The audio work gets done on the pedal. The editor is for building the MIDI tracks and putting them together into parts and songs that then get played on the pedal.
