Hey Justin! Just wanna say that your lessons really helps me! And also I have a request, wondering if you can make a video where you teach Emmylou by First Aid Kit. I know there not so famous or known by the world, but it's a really good song and i would be so glad if you could teach it. Thanks in advance!
I'm with ThePurpleHarpoon on this one - every version of this I've seen has a capo on one and it's Dsus2, Dsus2/F#, G, Asus4. Having said that this is the first time I've seen this played unaccompanied so maybe the capo on three gives it a fuller sound? Still works.
wow justin your really good, every time i need to learn a song i run to the putter ive been playing for years but dont hold a candle to your playing your the best and your veary easy to learn from thank you veary much justin im 64 and still rocken thanks , johnny D.
Any plans on you two finishing this song in another video? She did a beautiful job. I would love to hear her finish that with you... Please do the whole song on a video if you can. :)
JS do you do private tutorials? Would really love one on how you played the fingerstyle intro or a separate video. I've been watching the picked fingerstyle intermediate video and cannot make it souns like you do in this video. It's my wedding song this man so means a lot to me, gott a perfect and you play it just so here 👍
Hi Justin, I joined your site but I cannot find the picking pattern/intermediate lesson on there, is there way to access it? I'm interested in the last bit of this video where you are picking the song throughout. Thank you!
Damn Justin!....that chick rocked it!...she's wonderful!...and ofcourse so are you too my friend, thanks to you, I've stepped up mu guitar playing to another level....thanks you so much for your precious time...and I will be buying your bands cd....you guys are great!
Great song. Love your arrangement - like a quality studio session. The vocalist is amazing. Question: i am working on the strum/ picking technique. Have looked at your lesson. I find it more natural to use down strokes on most of he bass notes and it appears that you are doing this also on this song. Should i continue doing it this way, or switch to the alternate picking method?
Hi Justin, love what you are teaching us, i have yet to try the last three that you have posted me. Could you tell me what two acoustics guitars you are using. Looking forward to the release of your album this month.Cheers
justin, have u got any nile rodgers lessons, like thinkin of you intro(sister sledge)and hes the greatest dancer(sister sledge again)..i think niles sound is great..nice teaching by the way, keep up the great work...
Whilst your over in this area of music... a lesson on The Band Perry ...Better Dig Two would be really good... so would more collabs with the lady. Loveed her voice, is she on youtube ?
Thanks a lot for this interesting lesson. Especially for having chosen Shania Twain, admirable artist and life. Good things in the voice.... Could be an opportunity ... To be developped ... I agree with prisonerarchives, partial cover is a little bit frustrating for listeners, especially when it sounds good. [iminent=gRE0Y8YVffOB]
That pretty lady is such good singer and has lovely long hair; but Justin was not singing. He is having a rest from it. I highly recommend him if you want to learn to play guitar. Go to his website justinguitar com It's entirely free. He is good singer to. All the lessons are cool like this one. You can buy his guitar lessons too on DVD. They are good value for the money. I got them all. He plays Maton guitar, and sometimes Fender or Gibson. But he likes Maton best made down under in Australia.

I agree with u about using capo and use C as base. Easier to change if the singer is a bit lower just change the capo. Genius trick!
"Just C us just F-ing G"
