The Flop Eared Mule - Score Preview. Arr. ADVANCED Quartet for 3 Violins & Cello - by Sarah McLellan

This new arrangement for Advanced Quartet of 3 Violins & Cello, of the much-loved traditional fiddle tune - The Flop Eared Mule - is a little gem and would be a great addition to the repertoire of any school or youth string ensemble. The first half is deliberately straight-forward and will sound pleasing if you have little rehearsal time, while the second half provides the opportunity for lots of folksy double stopping fun for those wanting more of a challenge.
If you have a mixed ability quartet and need a variety of different level parts, you can combine any of the parts from this Advanced Quartet Arrangement, with parts from either the Intermediate or Junior Quartet Arrangements if need be. (All parts will fit together between the different levels. E.g. you could combine 2 players reading from the Advanced Quartet parts and 2 players reading from the Intermediate/ Beginner Quartet parts) if you wish.
