Marko's results are incredibly impressive, because you can visually see his progression in skill level throughout. Also, if you took out just 10% of my trades - my results would be very very unimpressive too! For us trend traders / momentum traders, just a few select trades make all the difference.

How can one be sure that what they are looking at isnt literally 3 years & 11 months of chop and 1 lucky month?
I dont mean to be harsh btw. Asking legitimately as the difference between this and breakeven traders seems to be 1 month
As a momentum trader myself, I completely expect that most months will be sideways, down, or slightly positive. Then, when that good trend finally comes along, I will make up for all of the losses/drawdown periods. This is the unattractive reality of trend trading!
@@TraderNick Hey Nick, I get that completely but this example makes me uneasy. Until it portrays 3-5 times of chop into upide momentum, I dont think it can be categorised as a "profitable" system regardless of the fact that it is currently in profit (if that makes sense) as this would illustrate its ability to break the threshold to new equity highs. My idea of a good equity curve wouldnt be the martingale ones that have barely any drawdown then suddenly crash into 0, but I do expect very lengthy choppy movement that has a very slow ascent to the top right corner.

Very bad returns! Better invested in Nas100 or S&P500.
Marko beat the S&P over a 2 year period, specifically a period with very positive returns for the stock market. Additionally - he trades forex, which is quite impressive to see that he kept pace with the S&P during a bull market!
@@TraderNick Nas100 rose over 70% from Jan 2023 till now… Short the 2022 bear market and you’d have beaten the market by miles, no?

He met all of the criteria to my challenge to trading influencers. He had the results, and huge props to him! Was I not supposed to honor the offer? lol

Other styles of trading are also welcome to participate. Marko is the only influencer to step forward so far
