I've been waiting for this all day! I love seeing genuine love for these girls. The only thing about the mv I'm sure about is how Haseul has anything to do with it. The only thing I could find in the Carol is Haseul looking into a room that had the same color as the room Chuu and Yevs were in while they were opening the expoding feather gifts and confetti tubes that were in both Carol videos. Also Haseul was late for the pop up at the end of the video. I might be looking at things too deeply though. I can't wait to see more from you!
If you google "The Little Match Girl" then it tells the story of a young girl on New Year's Eve that is dying of hypothermia outside and begins imagining a warm home and festive food and decorations, things her family can't afford. I believe Chuu is the little girl and died at the end of the MV. Chuu never actually went inside the house and had the party, she was just hallucinating it all as she was dying. This is supported by the fact that even though we see her apple turn red, it's still green when she's passed out on the ground. She's also seen still watching from outside in the cold during the scene of her partying with Yves, she was imagining all of it while she was dying. In the story, the little girl sees a shooting star above her and remembers that her grandmother told her that it means someone is dying, the spirit of her grandmother then comes to comfort her while she dies and carries her to heaven. I think the spotlight on Chuu while she's on the ground is the shooting star and Haseul is her grandmother that comes to comfort Chuu and take her to heaven. I could be completely wrong though ahaha
Towards the end of Heart Attack, the part where Chuu eats the apple and then she's inside with Yves, What if that's inside her head? That she wants to be inside with Yves and have fun...but that's not reality. The reality is that she's outside in the cold. I guess she eventually passes out from the cold (Which that could be the reference to 'The match girl' story)
I agree that there's parallels to the Little Match Girl. I think there's also something to be said of the fact that the apple turns red, into the same forbidden fruit Yves was passing around in her video. All through the video Chuu has been trying to get Yves to accept a green apple, basically a dishonest version of herself made to mirror Yves. But after eating the forbidden fruit and gaining what Eve gained (knowledge of the self), Chuu has a vision of what will really make Yves accept her; she has to offer the strawberry instead of the apple, which I think is supposed to represent the true self. After the vision she dies and is reborn, like another fairytale character associated with red apples - Snow White.
The whole theory that Loona is reversed may be real because when we see Hasuel that's her during the Carol. The Carol came out before LOONA 1/3. So could the girls that fell from Eden sparked the loonaverse in motion? And does that mean that Yves and Vivi where actually together before she became an android. So Vivi's memory got messed up and that's why in her mv she imagines a guy at the skating rink. But actually wasn't a skating rink at all it was the bowling alley and she was skating with Yves. I think there may also be a small reference to Snow White because when she bit the Apple she fell over and fell asleep outside in the cold. And all that happened to her and Yves was a dream. I think they didn't mentioned in the description because it wasn't completely obvious.

I think this is a very nice interpretation. I would also add that the strawberry we see at the end (which is also featured in promotional materials) may be representative of something like the "true self". Yves wouldn't accept Chuu's green apple because she wasn't offering herself truthfully, but was just trying to give her what she thought Yves would want. It's only when Chuu gains knowledge after biting the forbidden fruit that she is able to present herself and offer Yves something genuinely personal. After all, the forbidden fruit in the Bible comes from the "tree of knowledge of good and evil", and allows Eve (and Adam) to make their own decisions on what is right and wrong. Interestingly, God lies to Adam, telling him that he will die if he eats the forbidden fruit, whereas the snake tells the truth about what the fruit does. Although Yves' animal ended up being something different, a lot of people connected her to the figure of the snake in Eden, tempting others like Vivi, Choerry and Chuu to follow her out of Eden. Haseul on the other hand is a dove; Christian mythology has the Holy Spirit descending on Jesus like a dove at his baptism, and doves are also associated with the story of Noah. Furthermore, doves are used as a symbol for the Roman goddess Venus, known in Greek mythology as Aphrodite, and Yves is seen reading a book called "Aphrodite Means Death". I therefore think Haseul and Yves are opposing forces in the Loonaverse, with Yves being corrupted and Haseul pure.
I have a speculation and easter eggs for you: Speculation: Just like haseul interacted with Chuu, Kim Lip will interact with Yves In many moments of the MV, Chuu interacted with the dark green-ish color (Haseul). Her clothes, earrings, the chair she's sitting, her apple, the wall on Yves's dancing room is Peach and Green... Also in many moments Yves interacted with the Red color (Kim Lip). Her clothes, apple, chair,... I think that all the animals in a photo and their respectives girls will appear in this unit. It's a photo with some animals, some of them already appeared. Kim Lip and Heejin should appear sometime, and I saw a theory where each girl from the third unit has like a version from the other units. Exemplo, Yves and Vivi. And now Chuu and Haseul. Even their music : vivi sings that she needs someone while yves says she just has herself. Chuu, it's not exactly, but she wants tô be like yves or tô stay like her and Haseul sings about how she is becoming most like the one she loves. Saw these theories and make sense
I actually think Chuu is the reverse of Yeojin and not Haseul. Why? Because in Let Me In, Haseul actualy killed her other self with the feathery dress, which means that Haseul doesn't have a reverse girl in LOONA 3/1.That also explains why 1/3 has 5 members while 3/1 has 4. I think she's the reverse of Yeojin because she wears the same purple dress and ponytail as Yeojin and their MVs are both very similar. I think that when she is circling around Yves, she is trying to copy her, as she did with her "new" clothes and dancing. So it's definitely Yves who was spinning around the girls in Girl Front. It also catches my attention that Yves looks a bit annoyed with Chuu during this scene but it can be just my impression too. Additionally the fact that HaSeul, Yves and Chuu have birds as animals so they must have some connection between them, andthe fact that Chuu does not even see HaSeul can mean that maybe Chuu, by eating the apple is already out of Eden, in another part of the mobius circle where the rest of the girls who have not eaten apples or forbidden fruits are invisible. Remember how she changed from the OEC converse to the black heels? She was probably that “mysterious girl” around OEC, not to mention in one of Chuu’s teasers it said in the caption she was a “mysterious” girl. *green apples stand for friendship which you can see Yves clearly doesn’t want right now* The green to red apple most likey stands for the imagination stage of the mv where when she’s inside the house but that’s all just in her head. She’s still actually outside in her cold, friendless self.
The last scene is reference to Little Match Girl as the description said. Chuu bites the green apple, and apple turns red → represent light the match then Chuu fulfill her wish: hanging out with Yves. When the apple turns green again, Chuu fall asleep and sweet dream ends. As always, nice reaction!

The purple outfit chuu has in one of the dance scenes seem reminiscent of the frog from yeojin's mv. And their mv themes are almost parallel in a way only in yeojin's she's the being chased, and in chuu's she's the one chasing. Opposites maybe? And there's a part in the "Little Match Girl" story where when the little girl lights her matches, she sees a vision of her grandmother in heaven which she loves and enjoys being with but she can only see her when she lights the matches (bite the apple in this case maybe?). You can see that in between the "happy moments" scene of chuu and yves, we can still see chuu looking into the window. The little girl lights all her matches until they die out and she dies in the freezing cold (which is what happens in the end part here). If you want a bit more context google "The Little Match Girl" lol. It could explain why she's out in the cold just staring into the video. Do with these assumption what you will. lol. Sorry the thoughts a bit scattered. Chuu still has me shook with her vocals.

I just posted this on the actual video BUT here's my theory: So as these 4 girls were supposed to be from Eden, I'm thinking that Yves is a loose representation of Eve and Chuu is likewise one of Adam. In the bible story, Eve is the first one to give into Satan's trickery and thus bites the apple, rebelling against God and decidedly becoming exiled from Eden. When Adam finds out, he is horrified and, as he just wants to be with Eve, bites an apple too so they will both be exiled together. In this MV, once Chuu bites the apple, she is with Yves: once Adam bit the apple, he was with Eve. Moreover, from what I read from John Milton's 'Paradise Lost' (which is an epic poem of this particular bible story), once Adam secures his fate as a rebel of Eden, the two end up having sex. I think this is kind of represented in the MV through the party Chuu and Yves have together once Chuu bit the apple - like Adam and Eve, they're also having a good time once the other rebels (albeit in a different way but come on guys this is already p gay for a kpop video and this is Korea we're talking about lol). Plus, I think it's pretty clear that Chuu and Yves aren't in the same universe/plane before this point, as Yves doesn't notice Chuu, more just her presence. It's only when Chuu bites the apple are they truly in the same universe and Yves can actually see Chuu. This could represent Adam joining Eve in exile, as both Adam and Chuu were banished from Eden and thus reunited with Eve and Yves respectively in a different world/universe.
The last sentence you read in the beginning of the vedio "when the four girls who denied the garden bluh bluh part " that is basically saying that last two left girls who didn't revealed yet are involving in concept of the eden. And they four will be sub-unit team like OEC or 1/3. So I am pretty sure that one of them must be snake for her symbolic animal.

This is my personal interpretation of chuu's mv. Chuu in the beginning was copying yves from head to toe, wearing the same clothes, doing her choreo and even copying her circle moves in oec mv. Throughout the whole music video, we see yves reading one of the penguin (referring to chuu) books called "love is evil". I'm guessing she was reading it to learn from it and using her knowledge, she finally pays chuu attention. She tries to seduce her with strawberries? and sort of lure her. But! Chuu was actually dreaming and she did not eat the apple and turn red at the end. This is why he green apple was lying down beside her when haseul woke her up. UNEATEN. STILL GREEN. It was never confirmed that Hyunjin was the girl running around OEC. In the description for Girl Front's MV, it says "Another girl yet to be introduced revolves around ODD EYE CIRCLE", so yeah, the girl running around them is probably Chuu or any of the 2 last members. In a part of the MV, Chuu is using a pearl earring. in Yves's MV, when she is catching the animals in the machine, she is using a red sweater(?) with pearls on it (almost like the same one that Hyunjin is using in her MV)
So i guess they have some connection going on...

I think that all the animals in a photo and their respectives girls will appear in this unit. It's a photo with some animals, some of them already appeared. Kim Lip and Heejin should appear sometime, and I saw a theory where each girl from the third unit has like a version from the other units. Exemplo, Yves and Vivi. And now Chuu and Haseul. Even their music : vivi sings that she needs someone while yves says she just has herself. Chuu, it's not exactly, but she wants tô be like yves or tô stay like her and Haseul sings about how she is becoming most like the one she loves. Saw these theories and make sense
I actually think Chuu is the reverse of Yeojin and not Haseul. Why? Because in Let Me In, Haseul actualy killed her other self with the feathery dress, which means that Haseul doesn't have a reverse girl in LOONA 3/1.That also explains why 1/3 has 5 members while 3/1 has 4. I think she's the reverse of Yeojin because she wears the same purple dress and ponytail as Yeojin and their MVs are both very similar. They're also reverse since Chuu is the last month of they year while Yeojin is the first. Hope this helped ^-^

I think that when she is circling around Yves, she is trying to copy her, as she did with her "new" clothes and dancing. So it's definitely Yves who was spinning around the girls in Girl Front. It also catches my attention that Yves looks a bit annoyed with Chuu during this scene but it can be just my impression too.
Additionally the fact that HaSeul, Yves and Chuu have birds as animals so they must have some connection between them, andthe fact that Chuu does not even see HaSeul can mean that maybe Chuu, by eating the apple is already out of Eden, in another part of the mobius circle where the rest of the girls who have not eaten apples or forbidden fruits are invisible.

The purple outfit chuu has in one of the dance scenes seem reminiscent of the frog from yeojin's mv. And their mv themes are almost parallel in a way only in yeojin's she's the being chased, and in chuu's she's the one chasing. Opposites maybe?
And there's a part in the "Little Match Girl" story where when the little girl lights her matches, she sees a vision of her grandmother in heaven which she loves and enjoys being with but she can only see her when she lights the matches (bite the apple in this case maybe?). You can see that in between the "happy moments" scene of chuu and yves, we can still see chuu looking into the window. The little girl lights all her matches until they die out and she dies in the freezing cold (which is what happens in the end part here). If you want a bit more context google "The Little Match Girl" lol. It could explain why she's out in the cold just staring into the video.

I just posted this on the actual video BUT here's my theory:
So as these 4 girls were supposed to be from Eden, I'm thinking that Yves is a loose representation of Eve and Chuu is likewise one of Adam.
In the bible story, Eve is the first one to give into Satan's trickery and thus bites the apple, rebelling against God and decidedly becoming exiled from Eden. When Adam finds out, he is horrified and, as he just wants to be with Eve, bites an apple too so they will both be exiled together. In this MV, once Chuu bites the apple, she is with Yves: once Adam bit the apple, he was with Eve. Moreover, from what I read from John Milton's 'Paradise Lost' (which is an epic poem of this particular bible story), once Adam secures his fate as a rebel of Eden, the two end up having sex. I think this is kind of represented in the MV through the party Chuu and Yves have together once Chuu bit the apple - like Adam and Eve, they're also having a good time once the other rebels (albeit in a different way but come on guys this is already p gay for a kpop video and this is Korea we're talking about lol).
Plus, I think it's pretty clear that Chuu and Yves aren't in the same universe/plane before this point, as Yves doesn't notice Chuu, more just her presence. It's only when Chuu bites the apple are they truly in the same universe and Yves can actually see Chuu. This could represent Adam joining Eve in exile, as both Adam and Chuu were banished from Eden and thus reunited with Eve and Yves respectively in a different world/universe.
The last sentence you read in the beginning of the vedio "when the four girls who denied the garden bluh bluh part " that is basically saying that last two left girls who didn't revealed yet are involving in concept of the eden. And they four will be sub-unit team like OEC or 1/3. So I am pretty sure that one of them must be snake for her symbolic animal.

WAITT, 9:30, YES, it starts in 30 minutes, that means everything happened in a day, the "vision" (hans anderson story thing) ended in 20 minutes or so, the apple's power runs out, just like how in LCM (the cherry made her high), it reverses and she can't see anyone, even haseul, but she remembers the vision (the little girl's matches reference) when she's dropped to earth, her "heaven" and so she can't see haseul, being her only memory, she sees Eve, and begins to work for her love, but yves doesn't see her, bc she's not COMPLETELY on earth, she ate a GREEN apple, and so the cycle begins, supporting both the mobius, mirror and the loop theories.

This is my personal interpretation of chuu's mv. Chuu in the beginning was copying yves from head to toe, wearing the same clothes, doing her choreo and even copying her circle moves in oec mv. Throughout the whole music video, we see yves reading one of the penguin (referring to chuu) books called "love is evil". I'm guessing she was reading it to learn from it and using her knowledge, she finally pays chuu attention. She tries to seduce her with strawberries? and sort of lure her. But! Chuu was actually dreaming and she did not eat the apple and turn red at the end. This is why he green apple was lying down beside her when haseul woke her up. UNEATEN. STILL GREEN.

It was never confirmed that Hyunjin was the girl running around OEC. In the description for Girl Front's MV, it says "Another girl yet to be introduced revolves around ODD EYE CIRCLE", so yeah, the girl running around them is probably Chuu or any of the 2 last members.
