    It most certainly was 2004. I know this because I was there to witness this epic battle.

    One correction: The caption from the competition clip is incorrect. That match was the in the Semis of the absolute division in 2004, not 2008.

    lo bueno es que muchos se dieron cuenta que está mal escrito, es un kouchi gari cayendo, enrrollándose, por eso es makikomi, pero el sensei lo dijo bien. Y hasta hace no mucho en Judo se podía aplicar como lo hace, o incluso trabando más la pierna, pero ya con las nuevas reglas no se permite (bloquear las piernas con los brazos)

    LOL @ the translator for getting Uchi mata makikomi wrong. On a side note, Judo legend, Koga was great at it and he wasn't susceptible to the back take because everyone feared his seoi nage for one thing and it made this move so much easier to follow through. The second thing is that, he fully commits and roll through his opponent to land on top.

    it's a Kouchi Makikomi

    • @jasonrutibager7542
      @jasonrutibager7542 8 лет назад

      yes. that's what he said but he's customizing the technique for Jiu Jitsu because the traditional Kouchi will expose your back.

      I'm referring to the translation calling it uchi mata makikomi, that's a mistake, very different takedown.
