Dang!🤣 ngl this has really been a turn of events lol all the way from permanently disqualified, waiting 6 years, to now deployed… All in Gods timing fr! Thank you so much🙏🙏
I saw you so many times at WPMC or by the dorms but never said Hi because I was too shy. But I would always freak out a little and tell my friends like omg I just saw Dominga. I watched your videos months before I joined and loved every minute. Im a 4H, my phase 2 tech school was there and I left at the end of June. I’ve been in for about a year n a half now and couldn’t be happier. Anyways enjoy your deployment and thanks for making videos that people like me can appreciate.
Aw dang, you should've said hi! lol but I understand I just saw a military tiktoker I follow and was scared to say something so I just did it real quick lol but he was cool 😂 that's so awesome thank you so much!! and congratulations on graduating from tech school! A year and a half was so crazy to think about because it goes by fast and slow all at the same time (maybe that's just me lol) but that's how it felt.
Honestly, they didn't really check our stuff. They put it through the scanner on base to make sure no crazy stuff was in there but they didn't go through what we brought. Defintry different for other bases though and other branches.
Oh nice! one of our new mental health techs just came from guard to AD and now works in our clinic. Definitely will have to do a video with her when I get back from deployment!
I really enjoy watching your videos, because you're one of the only people on the internet that has any information about being a 4C0, which is what I am interested in joining Air National Guard as. Would you be able to talk about what that looks like? And how deployments work as a 4C0?
Thank you so much!!! I definitely would love to make that vid. This deployment has honestly been pretty good so there’s a lot to talk about!!! keep in touch ( esp so I don’t forget lol 😂) I also had a friend who did national guard as a 4C so that might be a great vid w her too when I get back
@@DomingaShataun That’s great! I’m glad you’re enjoying your deployment so far, it’s definitely something that I would like to familiarize myself with before making the decision to enlist. Excited to watch updates as they come, stay safe have fun!
@@giannamantini5031 That’s great! Yes I’m gonna try to get more out to you! Definitely keep researching and even other jobs too so you can see what fits your needs and interests etc!
@@DomingaShataun ohhhh yes lot’s of research haha I’ve got a few that I could be interested in but mental health is def on top, I’m about to graduate with my bachelors in Psychology and I’m planning on getting my Masters in Clinical mental health counseling as well (hopefully while enlisted) so it’s definitely up my alley.
Unfortunately, they did not let me move out of the dorms before I left (trust me I asked multiple times 🙃) so my stuff just stayed in the dorms and no so BAH for me while deployed 😔 ... but def gonna try and move out right when I get back! So everyone else who is out of the dorms before deployment, yes they get their BAH, Just depends on their living situation/expenses how much they can afford to pocket during deployment.
i remember when i came into the air force almost 5 years ago and you were STILL trying to join. come a long a way, enjoy your first deployment.

Lol I knew I recognized you yesterday😂you talked at the mandatory briefing
lol really? 🤣 that was my first brief there, I hope it was good! if you see me come say hi 👋🤩 !!!
Definitely bring everything in your reporting instructions lol I’m a UDM and they check everything at persco.

I thoroughly enjoy your videos - hopefully I can get this med waiver so I can enlist in Air National Guard.
Stay safe out there 🤙🏿

@@giannamantini5031 oh then I would definitely think about going in as an officer! Way better pay and lifestyle!
I feel the same way wearing my patch …. Like nooo I’m med admin..😭
Right😭😭🤣 I ain’t that kind of medical lol 😂
So do you move out of the dorm and put your things in storage - to save BAH? School/class?
