What other travel recipes do you suggest which can be mixed with rice? (PuLiyogare gojju, capsicum/brinjal palya with vangibaath powder) etc? Thank you!

about this rice cooker, I am using it from many years, working good, it is stainless steel. I prepared rice, pongal, when ever we travel I make readymade upma mix, shavige uppittu mix and I made that . made akki and millets ganji . one draw back, if we put the ingredients to the max, the water overflows. either use big one or we have to open the lid and keep it for sometime. Other than this this cooker is the best! Never used another type rice cooker. I hope I answered your question.

I am happy you do exactly the same. except for one til: salt is added to he rice in the end and mixed. amma says uppina ruchi tarakaarige hogabaaradu. you are very correct about closing lid and keeping for a while on low heat. it does enhance taste. ii swayampaaka paaThagaLige nuurondu dhanyavaadagaLu :-)

definitely we will meet :) I am also from Mysore ! I have many blenders at home, Vita mix, magic bullet, panasonic, other local brands. what I love the most is my panasonic mixer from India. I am using it from past 15+years , it is just super. small things I use magic bullet, serves the purpose, Indian mixer is best for our cooking

My mom is the teacher, but she always used to give the eye measurement. I used to make that way. But when my son went to college he was cooking at home So he needed the exact measurement which makes him feel it is my cooking :) He is the one who told me, the videos should have the exact measurements of all ingredients including water and salt :) Thanks for your nice comments!

Make srouted kosambari, nuchchinunde, Multigrain dose (adai) and regular everyday food is good, soaking 10 almonds overnight and remove the skin in the morning and make grind almond mix with milk, saffron and cardamom powder , Drink it everyday. This is very good.
