So after surfing Padang Padang last week, we decided to have lunch at the nearest nice restaurant. My wife picked Delphi. After walking through the cave, we looked out at - massive waves at Uluwatu. Thanks dear.....
wtf am i watching ??? i first heard of uluwatu in the early 80s when mr gambino my surf class teacher at westchester high told me about some del rey guys who went to bali back in lie 80 or 81 (dam i forget the guys names from del rey..dam ..if i heard it i would remember..anyway they brought baac super 8 from the trip )...this is 1st time i ever seen tow in at uluwatu or it this big ....am i mistaken or this the biggest uluwatu ever seen ??? (p,s was it morey ?? or cam ?? who went to bali way back then ?? im thinling it was someone else from del rey...

Ive noticed some camera geeks loose a grip on reality and what geeks em out... bottom turn @ 2.30 is great. get a better head for the stability of shot too!! all the best!
Anyone who thinks they can do this because they have the talent and experience. Better be able to hold your breath for about a minute. That white wash does not dicipate. It rolls across the flat reef and carries you underwater for days. Think twice. Would love to do that but that's my scare, besides the sheer factor of how big that wave really is when your at the bottom of it. A six foot wave at ocean beach in San Fran scares me when I'm under the lip wishing I was on the shoulder. Imagine what this would feel like

The slo mo was excruciating. The way the wave breaks at Uluwatu is so strange. It is also awesome. Kick ass wave kick ass video but it would be better at the normal speed.

When u surfed it ..it wasnt that big..the only guy who did surf it the last time it was big was a ozzie life guard who had it for 2 hours by himself..all the sheep came later when it dropped size.
