Onyx Studio 3 Chromecast and Bluetooth Playback Ultimate test

In This video I have done Music Playback test via Chromecast audio with Harmon Kardon Onyx Studio 3 and via built in Bluetooth 4.1. I have done the distance testing as well.I leave you guys to judge what playback method produced better audio or they were the same. Bluetooth audio is lossy compressed and Chromecast audio is lossless compression.

Keep in mind you are streaming lower quality to begin with. Playing your own high datarate mp3s may be different

In your opinion, did WiFi/Chromecast Audio or Bluetooth win out for audio quality? I heard a 1 second hiccup/skip with Bluetooth but other than that, it sounded close. I'd give a slight nod to WiFi but what do you think?

Yes the audio dropped for mili second via BT playback. In terms of sound quality in my opinion I believe both were 99 % same but Wifi had the edge for some reason.

As long you have good coverage of wifi the setup should work prefect with multi chromecast audio.
