Thanks for this! I tried going through wordpress' explanation and it wasn't very detailed. This video saved my business site from being down for more than 2 months!
Thank you so much, I am busy building my website and had a near death experience when I saw the critical error, and couldn’t figure out what could have went wrong, but this worked and I can now continue editing.
@@MegaMilez With stuff like this you have to trouble shoot so much. Most of us dont get lucky on the first video/ forum or what ever. But you have to try everything.
I still do have the same problem just with my pages I found the problem and it was the Colibri plugin and I disabled it But nou my pages says the exact same as my wordpress said Now what do i do
Its crazy that it'll crash the whole site of a stupid plugin. Plugins you can also deactivate by going into the FTP root and find the map called plugin. inside that map you see all the plugins and if you change the name by adding a . infront of it. It will deactivate the plugin as well
I'm not my own host. I pay yearly to another person for my website. My plugins are automatically updated and now I can't reach my website. Nobody's making a video how to fix it yourself without asking your hosting provider or nobody's telling me if this is impossible without asking my hosting provider. If it is impossible, I'll completely give up my domain and move on. I hate asking for help and if I can't fix it by myself, I will not fix it.
@@MegaMilez yes, unfortunately, I cannot try the main step which is going onto the host account since I am not the host. I cannot reach the person from whom I am "renting" the server. I am pretty sure it is because of a simple plugin update and I lost the whole website (which was an online language school) completely. I am searching for a solution without the help of the hosting provider but obviously, there is no such option.
@@MegaMilez That's kind of what I needed to hear. I've been searching for hours. If it is a dead end, I should know and you've given me an answer. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing! My issue is not resolved but you sent me down the right track.

Did you try the steps in the video? It can still be a plug-in causing the issue even if it is up to date. Good luck.

@@hilalkaragoz2814 that’s no good. Sounds like you should move your site entirely to a service where you can access it if needed. Plenty out there.
