I just got an Ark Royal and two Kisaragi. My port is not safe.
Uzuki is the cutest ship in the game. Her idle animation in the dorm and her crying 待って melts my heart... the position she was in when scared by Kaga was... unnecessary. But overall, love her being in this. Protect her and Kisaragi at all costs.
I always find it funny that Nagatsuki confidently readies her buzzer, but is also shaking moments later.

Kaga is scary even without meaning it, and with her actions just now while considering of her nature of being obsessed with combat makes Kaga a very unique character (also my favorite Sakura Empire ship)

That ain't low budget, that is a technique in animation to save time because you aren't supposed to notice it...
Toho treated this as a stub... Like it was just a small project to get done and over with, we all know those seasonal animes. They left out a ton of character details minuscule and unfathomablely impossible to miss alike an example being Kaga's or Akagi's tails at some point, plus just very shody animation in certain scenes, presumably pissing off a lot of people. Then they realized, "Oh, fuck... Their is an entire world wide fanbase here... That was expecting us to care." Which led to them postponing the last two episodes with the tag of giving the fans a finale they deserve, which only solidified the notion of Toho's lack of care in the beginning... Which part of me hopes will come back to haunt them a bit. Trust me I love Toho and their animation is usually gorgeous, which is why I expected better. But they managed to piss off a lot of people and Azur Lane's anime may or may not have changed hands, because I was looking around and I swear it was licensed by Toho only for now to say Mad House... Idk, maybe I'm just ranting but I feel a bit jipped when I look back at the anime, which don't get me wrong I enjoyed... For the most part.

See, I've always had some confusion about the Mutsuki-class of destroyers that AL has in the game.
The thing is, over the course of the war, Uzuki would undergo major changes to her armament, including the deletion of one of her torpedo tubes in favor of more AA guns, and even provisions for a shitton of depth charges. That being said, seeing her collide with an aircraft carrier (1942, colorized) is making me think: Because she underwent so many changes, wouldn't that make her the most versatile member of the Mutsuki-class, and therefore the most capable of them? I would think that one of the lesser-known one's would be the smallest, and the one to collide with Kaga...
