americandream112 That's as maybe, but it genuinely is tv quality without all the fakeness and clichés. Nat, your RUclips experience really shows in this video, it's clear that you stand neck and shoulders above the crowd. You're awesome!
This has to be the most I've seen a RUclips channel evolve without losing it's identity. It's inspiring to see a creator doing what they love (traveling, in Natalie's case), while still managing to produce awesome content regularly. Thank you, communitychannel!
I can't believe you were in Texas and I didn't see you. You did a great job summing up Austin. I lived there for 4 years when I was a UT student. Such a great experience. Food is where it's at.
I watched this video 8 years ago when you released it but forgot about it. I was just driving through Austin and saw food trucks and had an epiphany moment where this video popped into my head. You’re undying love for food is unforgettable, Nat.
They have so many good vegan/vegetarian restaurants in Austin! Veggie Heaven and Bouldin Creek Cafe being my two favorite vegetarian/vegan restaurants. I became a vegan while in Texas and moved to Austin because there are so many options. They have vegan ice cream places, several vegan bakeries, most restaurants have vegan/vegetarian options. They several food stores that sell a variety of vegan products not found in most stores. I really recommend you look up vegan options in Austin.
Ken Green Hiyooooh. sshpad Oh man that sounds awesome! I assumed there would be at least SOMETHING vegetarian but you make it sound like I wouldn't be scavenging for somewhere specifically vegetarian/vegan. Maybe one day I will visit if I ever am rich enough to go on a holiday around the US.
Awesome video Nat! I just love your travel videos and they're very well put together. Plus you still have me snorting with laughter during them. Thanks!
I've been tuning in to Community Channel since 'Crocs Rock' and I creepily haven't looked away since. Seeing you try out and enjoy MY city was a real treat. Yes, it is VERY challenging staying on a diet here--so we all just assume the see food diet. Cheers!
Nah. At first it was public. I watched it literally a minute or two after it was uploaded. But then, after the video, I went to comment and it said the comments had been disabled. And then when I exited the video, and tried to reload it, it said it had been made private. I think she accidentally did something when she was doing the downbar and video options/settings.
Chill. Nat said 'new video up on Wednesday.' Wednesday could mean any Wednesday. It could be the Wednesday that your cousin is getting married, or the Wednesday at the end of time. Or the Wednesday next month. So now to just ... wait ._. Hurry up. PLEASE! WE'RE ALL WAITING! EVERY ONE OF YOUR SUBCRIBERS!
I'm so glad you enjoyed Austin! I have lived here for 7 years, and it's honestly my favorite place in the world. You did a great job with this video, it represents the city very well.
Austin is really not so different from the rest of Texas, particularly the bigger cities -- and it's not like the countryside is full of flesh-eating zombies, for that matter ...
Another idiot who doesnt know how great Houston,SA and Dallas are. Not to mention tons of other great Texas cities. Just, stay in Camden NJ. We dont like closed minded people here.
Nat, any plans coming to "The Great White North"? If you're ever in Vancouver nobody will ever mistake you as being Chinese; not with an Aussie accent like yours. Visit the suburb of Richmond near the airport and you'll instantly know what I'm talking about. We've probably got the most multiculturally diverse cuisine on the entire content. Not bragging, just saying......
Nobody will mistake you for being Chinese... Lol I laughed at this comment. You still do get mistaken as Chinese. Misconceptions and stereotypes still exist everywhere, and Vancouver and Fraser Valley area are not an exception.
I chalenge your bragging, and invite her instead to the east coast in La belle province, Montreal I believe has the most diverse cuisine...you might only beat us in the Sushi department, maybe.....(yes im biased, yes I'm a Montrealer) Great Video tho!! :3
Mike Jerema Anyone else, maybe from St John's, care to challenge and invite Nat for some cod tongues and seal flipper pie in Newfoundland or some one from Halifax to dine on a lobster or two in Nova Scotia? Any more takers?
TheCsel communitychannel Yeah, would love to hear there were other Aussie tourist there who recognized Natalie & brought their Texas friends to meet her. Or at least shouted out to everyone pointing at her explaining who she is & why she's so cool. Nat, you ex movie star - you. ;)
I feel the same way. It's like my friend drove through my neighbor hood and didn't even stop and say hi... My feelings are so hurt, Natalie Transformer.
I'm loving your travel videos, Nat. and the fact that stayed true to your word from your last video!! I wonder if you'll ever visit the Philippines, if so i'll kill to get a picture with you.
I have never heard "Keep Austin weird" It's actually KEEP PORTLAND WEIRD??? and we have a lot of great breweries here, lots of fantastic food trucks, a saturday market, and VooDoo donuts... sooo
Day 2: You probably thought that I never do this again...but you were wrong. I am the cancer that returns just when you think it's safe to leave again.
Day 4: You can thank me fellow Nat fans. She returned because didn't want me to grow into something uncontrollable. (Totally separate from my weight. That ship has sailed.)
All the negative comments get over yourselves, no country, no state, no NOTHING is perfect! Natalie seemed to enjoy it very much and she's obviously not a stuck up snob like most of you are being. Is the food really all like that? No wonder Americans aren't healthy! One video Is not representative of a whole state or a whole group of people. Not everyone is the same. My goodness you'd think people had learned that by now.
I'm so glad you got to see my hometown. Everyone wants to see NYC, Disneyland, and the Grand Canyon. But few actually go to the cultural meccas of the US. I did my best to return the favor during my 3-month campervan journey down eastern Australia.
nat this video is fantastic! totally love the new series! it's funny anf informative :) and austin looks amazing, i hope i'll be able to visit someday!
This episode was basically Nat VS Food hahah I really hope you start up your own travel show, because you make it super interesting and relatable for our generation! I watched all your vids on the Lonely Planet channel and I found them really enjoyable to watch :) I love watching how far you've come! Keep going Nat!! :D
Texas is bigger than countries like Germany and is pretty diverse in certain areas like Houston. A lot of my customers are foreigners or foreign born. I grew up in a smaller town and have encountered a few racists that taunted me, but that was over the span of 20 years.
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD NO I MISSED YOU! I have been watching you since you started making videos, and here you are in my city, and I missed you... I'm literally almost in tears...
this is really inspiring, nat. i was having a sad time and all of a sudden my problems were irrelevant and you made me think about food and cinematography. (is cinematography even the word for HD video production?)
Nat.. your production value is insane! this could be on the travel channel or sumthin! I'd watch :)
Let´s be honest. She could do a whatever the fuck she wanted and we would all still watch. That is how great her channel is
omg lewtoons ily
She needs to play Lemmings and commentate over her own gameplay.
americandream112 Ain't that the truth. I just watched the entire set of Samsung tutorials she did, and I don't even own a Samsung phone.
americandream112
That's as maybe, but it genuinely is tv quality without all the fakeness and clichés. Nat, your RUclips experience really shows in this video, it's clear that you stand neck and shoulders above the crowd. You're awesome!

Agreed 100%!
Truth!
Glad you could make it over to Austin! This video's a great representation of the city and the food and the atmosphere. Best place I've ever lived!!
these travel videos are so AWESOME!
CARMIE
I can't believe you were in Texas and I didn't see you. You did a great job summing up Austin. I lived there for 4 years when I was a UT student. Such a great experience. Food is where it's at.
Yeah, because Texas is so small a place it makes no sense you wouldn't have seen her.
imkluu Yeah, someone couldn't tell I was being facetious with that sentence.
imkluu Its just that Austin is such an easy trip. I totally would have driven down JUST to meet Nat.
I watched this video 8 years ago when you released it but forgot about it. I was just driving through Austin and saw food trucks and had an epiphany moment where this video popped into my head.
You’re undying love for food is unforgettable, Nat.
Now I'm really keen to visit Austin thanks to this video and the #HeyUSA episode that was shot there
YAAAAAASSSSSS!
A Grace, Mamrie and Nat collaboration would be great too! :)
Omg YEEEEESSSS
I'd be keen to visit there too if I wasn't afraid to get shot there.
Gifted Fingers - Xavi You're still statistically very unlikely to get shot in Austin.
Gifted Fingers - Xavi lol. I have not been shot yet. XD
Nat you are an incredible presenter. These travel videos are TV worthy!
NAT! I seriously love how your travel vids are put together!! Super entertaining!
*Gah you're unbolievable.*
OMG I loved this! I wish I'd seen it before I booked all of my America trip lol LOve you Nat!
Oh man the city looks cool and would be a great tourist destination but I don't feel like I'd fit in as a vegetarian.
Yeah, in Texas we don't eat vegetables, we elect them to public office.
You definitely would!!
I'm a veggie and I live in ATX, there's superfluous options everywhere. This is the town where Whole Foods Headquarters is; we got tofu for days! :D
Awesome video Nat! I just love your travel videos and they're very well put together. Plus you still have me snorting with laughter during them. Thanks!
I've been to Austin twice and it's awesome! It's so hip and fun, and they love the gays. YAY.
I've been tuning in to Community Channel since 'Crocs Rock' and I creepily haven't looked away since. Seeing you try out and enjoy MY city was a real treat. Yes, it is VERY challenging staying on a diet here--so we all just assume the see food diet. Cheers!
You made it private at first I believe, unbohlievable!
Yes, I saw that too. I was thinking: 'Did she accidentally upload some unwanted video? Inappropriate things?' I think I got too excited.
GagaPOD :D inappropriate things...you're referring to the laminngtons video right? o_O
kakkoiBakemono or her stick figure drawings again
Nah. At first it was public. I watched it literally a minute or two after it was uploaded. But then, after the video, I went to comment and it said the comments had been disabled. And then when I exited the video, and tried to reload it, it said it had been made private. I think she accidentally did something when she was doing the downbar and video options/settings.
Anthony Maurangi
Thank you for that play by play analysis xD
Adding right now Austin to my "go at least once" list thanks to Nat. What a great travel video!!!!!!!
Yes I love these travel with Nat videos
Yesssss! Nat ate at my fav food trucks. "Hey Cupcake!" And "Hey Are You Gonna Eat That". She perfectly showed off what makes Austin great.
I really like these Travel With Nat videos
I am LOVING these travel videos Nat. Keep em' coming!
I followed you on youtube since 06 and You still manage to be straight up genuine! You are one of my favorite human being in the world!😎✌️
Natalie Tran is the true representation of an asian. Food is love. Food is life.
Oh so just an Asian?
the lil shot of nat at 2:25 is so beautiful idk why, just the setting and lighting and everything
Nat must be stranded in Austin since her last video was in Austin. UN BEE REEV ABLE! :O
Racist.
^^Apparently you don't watch Nat much. It is one of her catch phrases and she pronounces it just how I typed it. :D
victor bozzo It's UNBOHLIEVABLE that you misinterpreted her pronunciation as UNBEEREEVABLE.
No, it's racist to act like an Asian person pronounces "L"s as "R"s ... you must not get out much :) Nat says "un-boh-LEEV-able."
***** They might not be racist, they might just need to get out more so they can learn that it sounds racist.
I'm so glad you enjoyed Austin! I have lived here for 7 years, and it's honestly my favorite place in the world. You did a great job with this video, it represents the city very well.
You came to my hometown I’m so sad I missed you 5 years ago
I lost it at Bat make-up. Top humor at its finest! Haha Nat, you rock at this kinds of videos! Your editing skills rock!
You should do one anywhere else in Texas, just for the contrast.
Austin is really not so different from the rest of Texas, particularly the bigger cities -- and it's not like the countryside is full of flesh-eating zombies, for that matter ...
***** They do, but it's not like everywhere besides Austin in Texas is awful.
Another idiot who doesnt know how great Houston,SA and Dallas are. Not to mention tons of other great Texas cities. Just, stay in Camden NJ. We dont like closed minded people here.
JasnoGT San Antonio yes... Houston and Dallas.. not so much
MakeMeThinkAgain Spoken like someone who's never set foot in Texas.
I love your new "Travel with Nat" series! You are definitely very skilled at being a tour guide and host. Keep up the good work! :D
Richmond = Asian only, very multicultural if you asked me, been there not impressed, Canada is a nice country overall though.
Nobody will mistake you for being Chinese... Lol I laughed at this comment. You still do get mistaken as Chinese. Misconceptions and stereotypes still exist everywhere, and Vancouver and Fraser Valley area are not an exception.
I chalenge your bragging, and invite her instead to the east coast in La belle province, Montreal I believe has the most diverse cuisine...you might only beat us in the Sushi department, maybe.....(yes im biased, yes I'm a Montrealer)
Great Video tho!! :3
Sammy H. Smallman Touche. We have a vibrant East Indian community as well along with Chinese, Japanese, Korea
Mike Jerema Anyone else, maybe from St John's, care to challenge and invite Nat for some cod tongues and seal flipper pie in Newfoundland or some one from Halifax to dine on a lobster or two in Nova Scotia? Any more takers?
I'm going to Austin, Texas in August and I couldn't be more excited! I'll go to all of the places you visited, Nat.
hey Nat, did anyone recognize you on your trip?
TheCsel communitychannel Yeah, would love to hear there were other Aussie tourist there who recognized Natalie & brought their Texas friends to meet her. Or at least shouted out to everyone pointing at her explaining who she is & why she's so cool. Nat, you ex movie star - you. ;)
Even some of us Austinites know her! Unfortunately didn't see her...even though she was down the street from my house! ARGH!
Mandy Sutton
She's kinda short, it's understandable.
This was really nice. Great value. Also, Austin made it even better and I love the cupcakes at that cupcake truck.
WHAAT YOU WERE IN AUSTIN? How did I not know!?! :(
I feel the same way :(
Im upset i didnt know either. would def. have tried to come say hi and show you around!!
I have never heard "Keep Austin weird" It's actually KEEP PORTLAND WEIRD??? and we have a lot of great breweries here, lots of fantastic food trucks, a saturday market, and VooDoo donuts... sooo
It was "keep Austin weird" before Portland adopted the phrase as well.
Weird
The truth is often weird, padawan.

This put such a huge smile on my face. I love your travel videos
Day 1: So it begins again, Natalie.
Day 2: You probably thought that I never do this again...but you were wrong. I am the cancer that returns just when you think it's safe to leave again.
Day 3: I haven't slept in over 24 hours, it is 6 a.m. , and I'm alone singing angry pop punk love songs. I'm waiting for a new video, Nat.
AngryFatGirl2k12 I feel u
Day 4: You can thank me fellow Nat fans. She returned because didn't want me to grow into something uncontrollable. (Totally separate from my weight. That ship has sailed.)
Yes! Glad you liked Austin and the food :) it's gonna be my home for the next few years when I go to UT
R.I.P Nat.
I love these little travel segments! Keep doing you Nat.
You should visit Russia. It's cheap and never ending :)
Plus the snowy weather does wonders for the skin.
I've been living in Austin for 4 years. Great city. You should see it in the spring. Nice weather! Awesome food too!
I was literally going through and stalking all your videos just now and got so excited when this one came up! What an unbohlievable coincidence.
IT'S BEEN A MONTH!! WHY HAVE YOU STOPPED UPLOADING?!!!
Inspires me to travel to all these places. Amazing job capturing the essence of Austin, Nat (:

but its more like ive been around 4chan-type forums too much lol.
I'm so glad you got to see my hometown. Everyone wants to see NYC, Disneyland, and the Grand Canyon. But few actually go to the cultural meccas of the US.
I did my best to return the favor during my 3-month campervan journey down eastern Australia.
I hate that you are vegan now because i loved these videos with the sickening animal products you would eat.
THanks for sharing your life Nat, makes me smile!!!!
Looks like heaven for dem' hipsters.
It seriously is. I live in L.A. and was surprised by the amount of hipsters walking around when I visited Austin. Way more than I see at home.
I love your travel videos so much. Also, whoever is behind the camera, two thumbs up, it's beautiful
how the fuck do you stay in shape
Loved it when she said "you can eat healthy food all the time, but I never get around that time"
These videos are so chill and clean. Keep it coming brother!
I'm obsessed with your vids now. I'd seen you on RUclips in the past but I'm not hip soooo I hit subscribe just as hard as I'm laughing. HARD!

These travel vids seem really natural to you Nat! I love them :)
Nat, I love your travel blogs. Would love to see more of it. Please keep uploading.
Texas is bigger than countries like Germany and is pretty diverse in certain areas like Houston. A lot of my customers are foreigners or foreign born. I grew up in a smaller town and have encountered a few racists that taunted me, but that was over the span of 20 years.
Felt like an episode of "best food ever" Brilliant! Please make more!
My City
I'm so happy you liked Austin. I'm from Houston, but Austin just feels like home.
