Jerry West: The greatest architect in modern day sports.... From winning a gold medal in the 60's as an amateur then winning the nba championship in the 70's, to assemble the showtime lakers in the 80's, partnering kobe-shaq in the 90's and winning in the early 00's... and creating the current golden state warriors team, the future of the nba. That's why he is the logo.

Also he built Conley-Gasol Grizzlies, which never miss a single playoffs. And now add Clippers to his resume.

I grew up in Purcell, Ok. Home town of Lester Lame. He went to H.S. with my sister. He was every young boy's idol. There weren't many days that went by that we didn't hear something about Lester Lane. He visited P.H.S. after the olympics. We all got to touch his Gold Medal. We were awestruck. He was gracious in talking to us and giving us all encouragement.

I’m sorry to say this but I realized today that Mr. Jerry West has passed away. I’m very surprised about the news but I just wanna thank him for his contributions from the game of basketball from being a player, coach, and executive especially when he acquired Kobe Bryant. Rest In Peace Mr. West🙏🙏🙏
