It's been a rough two years of isolation on Lonely Farm, but now that we have the greenhouse and the potential for more animal companions, I'm looking forward to year three more than ever! It also makes sense that we shunned human interactions at the community center for the allure of cold hard cash at Joja Mart.

I actually started playing stardew valley because I wanted to fish. Got level 10 fishing by summer year 1 and never looked back. It's definitely my favourite activity

I’ve started doing this challenge too! 😄 Except I allow myself to leave only on the last day of every season. It’s been a pretty fun way of playing the game tbh, takes some planning
i do this but i can only leave to go to festivals
It's interesting you pick the last day of the season, when most seeds won't be of much use to you in the first year. I'd love to hear updates of how it goes for you.
@@audreyl606 Leaving only on festivals I know you can't use any vendors, so I'm interested to hear how you benefit from these outings, and how your farm goes for you.
@@Marialla. well I bought strawberries hahha it’s mostly to try to befriend the villagers so they send me stuff by mail and to break the monotony
@@audreyl606 FWIW, I just remembered that you cannot gift villagers at festivals but you can if you find them walking around. That would help maintain your friendships much better. I'll be interested to hear how that goes for you!
BTW, do you enjoy growing wild forage or fishing on these days off?
1)There is a secret fishing spot at the bottom of the beach farm, where you can fish up a present and then normal fish
2) You should've upgraded your house on that one day you leave the farm. You'd have more posibble drops from crates
3) You could try clay farming or snow jams and roots farming

Don't cut weeds until last day of the season. More mixed seeds. Get rid of the grass for more space for weeds to spawn.
whats funny about jack the scarecrow is that crows don't show up if you have less than 15 crops. also if you leave a few plants, rocks and branches, they spread, so you could have renewable mixed seeds by letting just the plants spread

I'm really enjoying this series you've put together! A lot of unique challenges present themselves when you're stuck on the farm with a (clearly sentient) scarecrow. You've also edited this beautifully, and done a great job of keeping the videos in this series entertaining, in spite of the gameplay not having as much variety as a typical Stardew playthrough. I think you have inspired me to try this challenge for myself as well :) I'm excited to see the future of Lonely farm!

The gravel paths look so good on the beach farm imo because it looks like wet sand, such a good concept for the farm type

During winter, you can make additional money (and visual variety) by hoeing up winter roots and snow yams
When I started watching I didn't think I was going to make it to the end, what could be exciting in stardew if you couldn't leave the farm? But actually it was way more interesting than I thought. Keep up the good work! :)

I just wanna give you a money making tip:
Use seed makers (I'm saying this not really remembering the recipe for it.) If you make one you can grow crops the entire season through and make lots more money 💰 😂

Only negative with this series is that there is no "panning with poxial" - something that actually rang in my head when I panned yesterday

I've started this challenge too on the beach farm. I even do the ceremonial box dance when one washes ashore and sing the tune while doing it.
My cat thinks I'm crazy, I'm sure.
When it started to get too monotonous, I switch back to one of my other farms so I don't burn out. 😂

Love ur content. Really good stuff and I bet it takes a lot of time to make. I’ve really enjoyed it. But I feel like it’d only do the OG creator justice if you mention them in the video too and not just in the descriptions. Like 100 days from LTN and this from Call Me Kevin. We all stand on the shoulders of giants and it’d be nice to also honor other creators that inspired us.

I never saw the first video for this, but I wanted to apologize and let you know that four corners farm let's you get a guaranteed 2-8 mixed seeds EVERY DAY. This makes the challenge MUCH more bearable. It also has a small quarry for mining exp, a pond for fishing, and of couse, area for trees and crops.
