Great video, your stitching is so stunning always a treat to see! I’m looking forward to new HATS release & SAL so will be watching for that…take care 🤗🤗😘
I think the dog is a beagle or a fox hound. Years ago my family had a Labrador retriever and his tail looked different. My Esther Blackwood sampler is done and I am eagerly waiting a call from my framer. I selected it because I lived in Germany years ago and my family loved hiking around the castle ruins along the Rhine River. As a teenager I imagined what it must have been like to live in one of them. ❤The castle ruins section reminded me of all the castles.
I am thinking about using Vicky Clayton silks for the Unicorn Badger Peacock sampler. Without seeing yours, I would have never even considered it. Wished I lived closer to see it in person!
Janice, I would try either wool felt or even flannel on your scroll rod to even out the thickness. I think that cotton may be too thin. Just make sure it is something that won't stain and is colorfast whatever you use. That piece is gorgeous!
Hello from oregon, thank you for showing your badger stitch, I havent started mine yet as i am still deciding if Im going to use silk or dmc and if Im going to do it on a green linen or fill in the background. I love the way yours is turning out. Glad to hear there gloriana threads will be coming back as I have 3 charts i want to do in schoolhouse red. Glad winter is here, its a great time for stitching.
Rose, I take an end of day photo on my iPhone of my piece every day that I stitch then put all my stitching photos in an album. That way I have a dated record of my progress that’s easy to refer to. A normal stitching day for me is 11am-4pm so that keeps my time. The plan is to scroll thru the photos, record the details in a journal & delete all the photos except the kitting photo & the finish. I should do this very soon as I’m accumulating a large number of photos!😉 So far this is working for me & it takes no time to snap the photo. Good luck finding the method that works for you.

Rose, could you please let me know the fabric you are using for Frances Eden? I have almost decided to make Frances my next start.
