You don't necessarily need to be here to get the job, but chances increase when you are on the ground. Prior to the pandemic, I know a couple of people who got jobs (IT, security) in NZ while in SA. Just give it a goal, you might be lucky if they lack the manpower here. All the best!
I don’t believe your information is correct. NZ is increasing costly to live for basic costs. Luxurious cars, houses etc. are for the wealthy!. Not a matter of simply getting loan! Loans are almost impossible to get here in NZ and the middle class are suffering with cost of living. A cleaner can’t even meet basic living costs on $20 an hour!!
Many thanks for your contribution. This video was done about a year ago and the minimum wage has risen to $23.65 per hour which was implemented on 1st September 2022. Currently, I doubt if there is any habitable place in the world that is not increasingly expensive for basic amenities, so it is more of a global issue. However, I still maintain that once you have a guaranteed job, creditworthy, PR, financially literate, and some savings you can live your best life here in NZ. Nevertheless, I am very much open to suggestions about countries where their minimum wages meet up with their living cost currently.
