A Ramses, Pharaoh of Friesians

ARamses, our absolutely stunning KFPS Friesian stallion is now accepting bookings for the 2017 season. Son of Feike 395 and a 1st premie Ster mare from Anton 343, Ramses has inherited the baroque majesty and conformation of his sire, and long luxurious hair of his grandsire, (Ramses' mane is to his knees!!) Standing at 17.2 hands, Ramses is a fantasy made real!! His long flowing mane and tail, his breathtaking beauty, spectacular movement, and incredible loving temperament are sure to be inherited in all of his offspring!! Ramses also has a very low kinship percentage, only 1.56%.
Emerging from the realms of fantasy, with their long black hair flowing in the wind, the Friesian horse has enchanted horse enthusiasts the world over with their majestic presence, regal and baroque conformation, spectacular movement and loving presence. Native to Friesland, a province in the Netherlands, this beautiful breed proudly carried knights into battle, as well as loyally worked with farmers in the field. In the 20th century however, this incredible breed was almost driven to extinction, dwindling down to a mere approved stallions. Due to this, all Friesians share kinship, and responsible breeders are careful to ensure that stallions and mares have as minimal kinship as possible. The Friesian has also influenced other breeds such as the Morgan, the Orlov Trotter, and the Norfolk Trotter (ancestor of the Hackney), and beautiful new cross breeds are emerging everyday! From medieval times, to present day, the Friesian continues to captivate horse lovers, owning one is a dream come true!!!
