The real genius of this song is, the lyrics in the Chinese seem to echo the sentiments of Heng, whilst the English is much like Yi's response. The difference in language is often not going to be understood by the listener the first time they experience the song, because statistically fewer people know both Chinese and English; this, in turn, conveys the philosophical fissure that exists between Yi and Heng for most of the game's narrative. In the end, each thread achieves a conclusion in a promise of reunion. Just in case you needed more evidence this game is an absolute masterpiece.
