Thanks for sharing the video on electricals on this Honda. Do you really even need ABS on the rear? I would have liked to see your video include some steps removing the tank, just for me to see getting to the battery in case it needs to be replaced or charged up.
Hi I was wondering if you could help. Abs on-flash 1-3,rear sensor but speedo works,then I have got abs light on (flash 6-6). Bike starts and runs as it should....any thoughts?
I'd suggest changing the battery, if the battery is running weak some systems won't run, I changed mine today as my abs died, speedo only displayed 0mph and horn wouldn't sound while the engine isn't running.
I have official DTC guide if needed. for ABS you have code 1-1 and 1-3 (front and rear wheel speed sensor circuit malfunction) you also have an ECU DTC but you stop ignition too fast
Why my honda doesnt start, has no spark, engine light turns on. Used start fine before, it started acting up after sitting for like a day, nothing has been done to it.
My cbr 125 2012 has poor acceleration psi is good I changed my fuel pump.fuel filter air filter and Injector. And I changed throttle body When I fully open throttel the bike has no pick up and go. Running lean you think? If yes why is it running lean ..cheers m8
Hi looks like you replace nearly everything interesting. Have look if you got any air leak maybe cracked pipes could be that but also check spark if is good maybe spark plug playing up sometime if the wiring is cracked or some spark going like 70% to spark plug 30% going to somewhere else if that all fine check compression maybe piston ring are wearing out and not enough compression. Have many miles on clock and what year is bike ?
@r91motorswelcome79 I recently put this whole engine in the compression was 205 now it down to 175 which is caused by my bike runing lean I'm guessing. I not long ago put a new new whole looming on the bike as well. You think it could be the ecu? I even tho I not long ago changed that either, haha 😅 iv spent over 2k this year on this bike
Hi mate i have same bike it starts runs for a few minutes looses revs dies out then struggles to start again after a minute or 2 itll start back up and its fine when its hot any suggestions no lights on or anything
Check under seat or close to fuse boxes must to be 3 or 4 pin plug red or white if not under seat then must to be closer to ecu or under fairings. Hopefully that will help
Cheers for the reply I still couldn't find it I stripped the thing Down might just get it serviced and see what it brings up go from there I can't find a single pic of a 08 cbr plug for it sadly

I wonder if you could help me,thieves tried stealing my cb125r damaged the barrel, I wanted to use aftermarket barrel but fuel pump will not work....I tried hot wire it-again fuel pump will not work, tried barrel from my mates cb125r plugged it in -all runs good, where is the secret with the wiring-there are plus ,minus and pink wire which I got no idea how to connect,any thoughts?
Yh, there is a resistor built inside bottom of ignition-without that connected bike will never start. 2 options: either get a honda lockset replacement or you can get any aftermarket lockset and only order a bottom bit with resistor from honda-they sell them for around £60-70 then sold your aftermarket lockset wires to the plate....
Put stock pipe back in or get fuel controller and adjust fuel mixture. You are sucking more air while keeping the same amount of fuel, that make your engine to run even leaner than stock. That mean less power and more heat.
Hi guys, I wonder if you dont mind helping me. Got 19 plate honda cb125r naj. One day bike has just cut out. Topped fuel, changed oil and spark plug. Charged the battery to full and still don't have no start. Bike is trying to turn but no joy. Please can any one recommend some help. I'm getting desperate as I need the bike for work. Many thanks and my sincere appreciation.
First thinks check if there is spark??? And if fuel pump works when you turn on ignition your fuel pump should work and make sound!!! Check kill switch clutch lever two wires or just put them together also side stand put the wires together sometimes gear selector switch could be bad but if clutch wirings are fine bike should start so check all this thinks and sure you will find it if all this is good so move to fuses and tilt sensor if that is fine then ECU!

in the instruction booklet on page 38 that the ABS light is on until the speed is exceeded 10 km / h
Yeah that’s correct it can come earlier but also can go after 20mph but in this case most likely you change abs sensor
I will definitely try the ecu reset. But any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Iv checked for air leaked iv even check the injector to see of it has irregular spray patterns all seems fine m8
Oh yh BTW my exhaust does have a little gasket leak could it be that mabe why it's runing lean as well

i have the same bike as you, but my problem did not disappear when i reset the ecu, the PGM-FI lamp is still on after
Must to be some sensor failed

My engine light on but not flashing.i think my o2 sensor got bad.any suggestion what other sensors are there and how to test
There is not much sensors up there if engine light is on most likely that’s your o2 sensor like you said !! If the bike is running fine 99% o2 sensor
